Love Triangle Drama? Han So Hee Sparks Controversy by Dating Former Girl's Day Member Hyeri's Ex

Former Girl's Day member Hyeri met her then-boyfriend actor Ryu Jun Yeol on the set of Reply 1988, and they dated for almost seven years. Just when their fans thought they were endgame, news of their breakup emerged, which was later confirmed by their agency. In November 2023, the couple parted ways, leaving many fans in disbelief.

On March 15, rumors about Ryu Jun Yeol dating Han So Hee started spreading like wildfire as they were allegedly spotted together in Hawaii. Following these rumors, the actor's agency responded that each was on vacation and that it involved their private lives, so they would not be responding. This statement from the agency further almost confirmed the speculations that they might be dating in real life.  

Amidst the rumor, Hyeri, who was still following her ex boyfriend at the time, unfollowed the actor Ryu Jun Yeol and posted a story on Instagram of palm trees, which basically symbolizes Hawaii, with the caption "Interesting".

After the following story, many fans started speculating that maybe Han So Hee is the reason the couple broke up as a report resurfaced that Han So Hee has already met Jun Yeol before he broke up with Hyeri. 

 

Hate Comments like "Is the girl for real? How can she break a couple like this", "She's playing her character from the world of married in real life too" and "I never liked her at all" 

started to surface on internet. The hate train became so intense that Han So Hee had to post story on I Instagram where it said that “I don't meddle in other people’s relationships.” and “I find it funny, too.” Netizens believe that the “I find it funny, too” part was in reference to Hyeri's previous story.

On the morning of 16th March, Han So Hee, on her personal blog admits that she is in fact dating the actor Jun Yeol but in 2024. She said He wasn't in a relationship when she started to date him. She even said that she will apologize to Hyeri for her "Pathetic Instagram story".  

Ryu Jun Yeol's agency also releases a statement confirming the realationship and also stated that on any malicious slander and insulting posts about the actor, the agency will be taking strong action through a legal representative in response to falsehoods, defamation of character, insults, and the violation of [ actor's ] rights.
