In December 2021 all five of the South Korean members of ONF (On N Off) would announce to fans (FUSE) that the members would enlist in mandatory military service together except for Japanese member U, or Yuto. After the announcement, the members would enlist a couple days apart, updating fans on each member's enlistment with photos. On October 9th, 2021, the group would be seen in training uniforms having fun on stage through various tweets and fan made videos such as the ones below.
They soon became viral due to a performance with some of the VAV and SF9 members of NewJeans' 'Hype Boy'. This attracted many eyes and hearts of both fans and casual listeners.
Since then and throughout the members' completion of their military service, the group would release numerous photos on their official Instagram before announcing their first official fan meeting of 2023, "Be Here Now".

To celebrate their 6th group debut anniversary on August 3rd, 2023, they would drop a special MV with cuts from the fanmeeting of the same name titled, "'BE HERE NOW' Special Video"!
