Previously, the male version of the survival program was confirmed and groups such as ONF, Golden Child, THE BOYZ, VERIVERYand TO1might be part of the lineup.
On Mar. 11, Mnet had announced that Lee DaHee and Jang SungKyu will once again be returning as the MCs.

Lee DaHee was well liked by the viewers for her 'big sister' personality as she had taken great care of the female idols who had appeared on "Queendom". On the other hand, with Jang SungKyu witty and funny personality, many could also expect him to have interactions with the male idols.
Adding on, Mnet also shared that "Road To Kingdom" is aiming of their first broadcast in late April.
