TOP 4 REASONS WHY 2024 K-DRAMAS ARE JUST NOT IT.

2015 was far by the worst year when it comes to K-dramas. Probably the only good K-dramas in 2015 were "Kill me, heal me", "Who are you: school 2015" and "She was Pretty". Other than those, rest were either not famous enough that anyone would watch like "Bubblegum" or just had pretty repetitive storyline like "Splash Splash Love"

Well, it seems like 2015 K-dramas got a new competitor because so far 2024 got nothing better.

Barely three months in 2024 and it looks like this year is going to be bad for K-dramas already.

Let's look at the top reasons why 2024 might be the worst K-drama year.

4. BRANDING IN SEONGSU

Honestly, I had high expectations from this drama and it DID create some buzz when it started airing. This kind of concept was something which wasn't done in a while and the star cast like Park Solomon was in there. But, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. It had everything that could have made this drama one of the best K-drama of 2024 but unfortunately it became mess and uninterested as the storyline moves forward.

3. THE STORY OF PARK'S MARRIAGE CONTRACT

I loved the premise of the show but unfortunately it didn't leave a great impact. A drama should not necessarily have 16 episodes and same is the case with this one. Although it started on a good note, It failed to hold the interest for 16 episodes. It would have been better if it had 12 episode cause no one could take any further.

2. A GOOD DAY TO BE A DOG

A good day to be the dog is based on the webtoon of the same name. As much as I love Cha Eun-Woo and Park Gyu-Young, this was an absolute disaster. The show had such an amazing cast who have lot of potential and they still made it one of the worst K-drama of 2023-24. First of all, The girl converts into Dog whenever she'll kiss someone. Secondly, Why do K-drama writers feel the need to put historical/previous life encounter in every Drama these days? I'm sorry but this was just not worth it.

1. CHICKEN NUGGET

Just when you thought it couldn't get worst, it does. This is the MOST ANTICIPATED KDRAMA of 2024 because it has united all the K-drama fans together. You think you've seen everything? Well, think about it again because apparently the premise of the show is that the female lead (Kim Yoo Jung) turns into a chicken nugget as she enters a mysterious machine. Now that's just K-drama writers writing anything at this point.

And these are the top 4 reason 2024 K-dramas are not it. But let's keep our fingers crossed maybe we'll see some good ones too this year.
