Which "Change Days 2" Couple Are You Rooting For?

One of the most dramatic, exciting, and entertaining Korean dating reality shows of 2022, "Change Days 2" has officially reached its halfway mark, and with that, our couples are at crossroads in their relationships. Some are seriously considering breaking up, whereas others would rather stick to their original partners. Either way, every contestant is seriously rethinking their priorities and sorting out their feelings to move closer to their final decision.

For those who didn't know, "Change Days 2", hosted by Jang DoYoun, Yang SeChan, Heo YoungJi, and Code Kunst, is a show featuring 4 struggling couples who go on a 2-week long getaway to Jeju to address their difficulties or alternatively, find new love. By the end of their stay, each contestant must choose to walk away, either with their old lover, their newfound flame, or alone.

The Lee JeongHun & Choi HuiHyeon couple has a realistic concern where JeongHun must go to the military soon, but HuiHyeon is not too sure about waiting for him, especially since she wants to get married and settle down. She also worries about JeongHun's financial standing. At the same time, JeongHun, who initially thought that he would just agree to whatever HuiHyeon wanted regarding their relationship, is starting to re-assert his own emotions. HuiHyeon confidently claims that she is not jealous of JeongHun's dates because he "looks unhappy" but viewers might think otherwise.

When the show started, the issue between Kim TaeWan & Kim HyeYeon seemed to be that HyeYeon isn't affectionate enough towards TaeWan and alternatively, TaeWan isn't reliable enough for HyeYeon. However, that soon devolved into TaeWan feeling like he was being gaslit and HyeYeon not being understood. TaeWan frankly declared that he is open to finding new love, and HyeYeon shared that she felt envious of how lovey-dovey the other couples were. It is also worth noting that TaeWan seemed to have felt a spark with JiYu during their date, and HyeYeon initially connected with DoHyeong.

Min HyoGi & Choi YunSeul have shown us their rocky relationship from the very start of the show. However, there was a positive change in their behavior towards each other following their original couple date. HyoGi bought YunSeul a Valentine's Day gift, and they expressed their feelings toward each other. However, when the time came for them to reveal whether they wanted to break up, both of them said that they did.

Finally, perhaps the most complicated couple on the show, Kim DoHyeong & Kim JiYu, were the only ones who wanted to stay with each other. They still have their fair share of issues, but it seems as though separation might not be on the cards for this couple. DoHyeong has connected with HuiHyeon and HyeYeon on the show, whereas JiYu has connected with JeongHun. Only time will tell whether they will survive the remaining time on the show and leave as a couple.
