Kim TaeHyub made his debut with the digital single 'Bounce!' in 2019 underneath the stage name Roman Kayz. A South Korean singer-songwriter who is in the Los Angeles and Bay Area, he is known for his unique alternative pop-indie genre and song style. This is evident in various songs such as 'have i been on your mind?', 'like you said you would', 'how do I make you stay?', 'it's okay to not be okay', and more.

He is also known amongst his fans for promoting and helping independent artists on his other YouTube Channel, "Down to Earth."

In the description itself, Roman describes it as, "Introducing rising independent artists." According to his Instagram, he follows and enjoys artist The 1975, Jay Park, LANY, blackbear, keshi, BIGBANG's G-Dragon, DPR, DPR Ian, Crush, and more.
