3 Things About C9 Rookies You Need To Know

Since the beginning of March, C9 Entertainment has been teasing K-Pop fans as it was announced that they will be introducing C9 Rookies! If you are curious to find out which other groups will be debuting in 2021, check out our list here.

2 years after debuting CIX, C9 Rookies is set to be the next boy group under the company.

With that being said, many are curious about the members and here is what we have managed to find out.

 

1. All Korean members

Consisting of 8 members, all of them are Korean.

Some members such as Ayden, Mu and BaekSeung are also capable of speaking English and Japanese, making them a global K-Pop group who is able to communicate with fans in different languages.

 

2. 2 familiar faces

You would remember the faces of Keum and BaekSeung who had previously appeared on Mnet "Produce X 101" (under Keum DongHyun) and "Cap-Teen" (under Kim HyunWoo) respectively. They are part of the C9 Rookies and their fans could not wait to see their official debut.

Keum had also made his acting debut through popular web drama "Best Mistake 2" and you can check out a compilation of his adorable character here.

 

3. 2005 liners

Among the 8 boys, the 3 youngest members were born in 2005!

Ayden, Jeff and YeWang form the maknae-line in the group and it is hard to believe that K-Pop idols are getting younger and younger. Despite their young age, C9 Entertainment mentioned that they have the vocal skills and producing talents to stand out from others.
