With a name change comes a need for reintroduction and for a rookie group poised with the talents and charms that are bound to make them world-class stars in the nearest future, it might be safe to get into them now for the fear of missing out on their trajectory rise.
Who is TFN? TFN (formerly T1419) is the nine-member Korean and Japanese group signed under MLD Entertainment. A name that stands for "Try For New", this might not be the literal meaning behind their name but one can denote that it centers around their quest for adventure, to take on challenges, and bring something new and different while confidently growing in their own rights as a group of artist. We have no doubt seen a great level of growth since they made their debut in January 2021 with the release of their single album "Before Sunrise Part 1." and its title track 'Asurabalbalta'.
Now going onto their 2nd year and with a record of impressive releases since then, the group is slowly and steadily making a name for themselves as a refreshing act with a diverse and versatile set of musical talents that would contribute greatly to the growth and continuous influence of K-Pop.

1. They have an impressive and versatile discography
Like many groups, TFN are seeking to showcase their steady and impressive musical growth. While their debut song might have met mixed reviews from both critics and K-Pop fans alike, their other releases since then have been nothing but bops. Here, they seemed to have a penchant for growth and learning. In our opinion, listening to their songs by order of release, it is pretty easy to spot their growth as artists.
They keep getting more refined and the production levels of their songs are pretty good as well. Another aspect of their discography is how they hold a certain level of youthfulness and fire in their sound, regardless of the concept or genre. It is this searing energy that seeps through their vocals, it is often goosebumps-worthy. With each comeback, their sound is even more elevated than the last, making the whole listening experience even more enjoyable. Aside from their title tracks here are some of our favorite songs from the group since their debut.
2. They are amazing performers
While we might get mixed reviews about their songs every now and then, there is however no sense of confusion or space for questioning when it comes to their performances. Fierce, exciting, and all-around entertaining, the members, despite their rookie status, already showcase a level of skill and charm on stage that is top-notch. Not a step out of place or a moment of boredom, on every stage, one thing you can enjoy about their performance is how present they are.
Fully immersed and focused, they deliver each stage with such passion and power in their moves that at the end, you just might see smoke erupting from their feet. While no doubt, they still have more developing to do, it is however not going to be too far into the future before they are recognized as one of the best-performing groups and till then, we excitedly tag along on their journey.
3. They are all budding all-rounders
It would seem the TFN members (or at least many of the members) are training in all positions as they have all displayed skills that could make them pass for any position. Their main rapper can also be their main or lead vocalist and the case is the same for their vocalists as well. While this skill is invariably important and will pose them as a well-rounded group in the future, but for now, in their rightful positions, each unit is bolstered with members whose ever-increasing skill levels are truly impressive.This fact will be even more noticeable as they continue to showcase their skills.
4. They're truly multinational
We would say TFN have joined the army of idol groups set to conquer the global music industry as even though they are still rookies, they already have performances and song records in different languages. They are one of the few notable groups who have songs or performance covers in South Korean, Japanese, and Spanish as well. You can check some of them below. With each member having his own striking features, when it comes to their visuals, they make it so difficult to choose a bias as they all have striking charms that would make your heart beat faster.
