Although the drama has yet to finish, there have been many moments that has resonated with the audience. Let's take a look at some of those scenes that has made us vulnerable down below.

Note: this article might contain spoilers.

        1. Shim WooJoo Breaking Down

Shim WooJoo (Lee SungKyoung) is this tough as nails character who's daring and fearless. When we first meet her, she has this undeniable charisma that can command an entire room. But we soon learn that this is just a façade and that she's not as strong as she makes herself to be. Watching her breakdown at the start of the series sets the tone for her character who's unbelievably resilient, but also a complete softie once she opens up.

        2. Daydreaming Of Happiness

It's made evident early on that both Shim WooJoo and Han DongJin (Kim YoungKwang) have a very bleak outlook on their lives. It's only natural with the amount of hardships they've faced and the burdens they continue to carry. But it is through Kim HyeSung's (Kim YeWon) daydream that we see the potential of a happier life for our two main characters. It presents a huge 'what if' and a conclusion many fans would want from the drama.

        3. Realization Of Love

Due to their past, Shim WooJoo and Han DongJin have kept romance at an arm's length. Love seems like a far off notion and a feeling they are not allowed to experience for an unforeseeable future. However, both of our main characters realize that love has been around all this time.

It's this realization that makes viewers hold their breath and watch in complete awe as they sort through their feelings. You can visibly see the gears turning in their head and the 'aha!' moment when they finally realize the feelings residing in their heart. We wrote a more in-depth article about this realization of love which you can read here.

        4. Helping DongJin Overcome His Trauma

Both Shim WooJoo and Han DongJin have been silently struggling through their traumas for a very long time. They've primarily been on auto-pilot, surviving day after day while not really getting any better. However, once the two meet, they show a significant improvement in lifestyle, as well as emotional and mental health.

Although WooJoo helps DongJin, she carries a heavy guilt due to her original motives of revenge. You can see how conflicted she is and just how much she's come to care for DongJin's wellbeing.

        5. Shim HyeSung's Eating Alone

From the very beginning of the series, her family members and coworkers have noticed how Shim HyeSung does not like to eat alone. They've also realized the wall that she puts up when she's around others and how she's never entirely true to herself. Witnessing her eat alone, we see true character development and that HyeSung is trying to break out of her shell. Her willingness to change is admirable and can move your heart in ways you never expected.
