With WOODZ’s penchant for rock and Fujii Kaze’s emphatic vocals, such a collab would positively break the internet and charts all over the world.

2. DEAN & Zack Tabudlo

DEAN is finally back to the music scene, and we could not be more excited. DEAN has always been known for his delicate, husky vocals that make us feel things we didn’t even know we were capable of. 3. EXO’s Chen & Arijit Singh

Taiwan’s OST queen Shi Shi has won millions of hearts with her exceptionally moving, warm, and tender songs. She is a beloved artist who definitely deserves even more global attention. On the other hand, Bang YeDam, who recently debuted solo, is filled to the brim with prodigious talent. Bang YeDam, with his rich, honey-sweet voice, would be the perfect artist to collaborate with Shi Shi and give us yet another heartening anthem we will never forget.

“Hello Counselor” was one of the most popular Korean talk shows, running for 431 episodes from 2010 to 2019. Hosted by Shin DongYeob, Lee YoungJa, Kim TaeKyun, Jung ChanWoo and briefly by Choi TaeJoon, the show exhibited a range of concerns from all over the country, bringing many issues to light and helping people through their struggles. 

The show also featured many celebrity guests each episode from singers, actors and TV personalities. By having a different set of guests sitting on the main stage each episode, they added something fresh and exciting each time. In addition, the guests were a meaningful addition to the show as they often had their own input for the different concerns that came through.

Eric Nam appeared on “Hello Counselor” many times, the last appearance being on Feb. 18, 2019. In this episode, a mother in her 50s sent in a concern about her 28 year old daughter who financially relies on her too much and who she feels isn’t trying hard enough to reach her dreams of becoming a singer. As a singer himself, Eric Nam shared his experience and wisdom in reaching his level of success. Going to Korea to achieve his dreams as a singer, he didn’t want to burden his parents. After making it to the final five on “Star Audition: Birth of a Great Star 2”, he was recognised by the public as a singer but still wasn’t making enough of a living out of singing. He took up any opportunity in the music industry to work his way up, whether it was singing guides for other singers or reaching out to other songwriters to work with him. With his story of becoming the singer he is today, Eric Nam emphasised the importance of setting a clear goal, taking whatever opportunity comes your way and working hard for your dreams.

In the Jul. 15, 2019 episode of “Hello Counselor”, a man who is a Korean national but was living in Morocco shared his concerns about the judgement he received in Korea about his height. He talked about the struggles he faced in Korea compared to his life in Morocco. At the end of the segment, Ailee shared her own experiences with facing criticism about her appearance. She learned over time that it doesn’t matter what people say about you because you can never please everyone. It is much better to love yourself the way you are rather than chasing other people’s never-ending ideals. 

"One day you’ll realise as a son how much your mother loves you" - SEVENTEEN’s SeungKwan

SeungKwan is known to have a loving, caring heart and CARATs know that he has a good relationship with his family. In the May. 21, 2018 episode of “Hello Counselor”, a mother came with a concern about her son’s behaviour. She shared how she has been working hard on top of studying in the name of supporting her son who moved out of home and doesn’t want to finish school. As she shared how life has been, SeungKwan empathised deeply with the mother. He urged the son to be kinder and more understanding towards his mother so that in the future, they can have a relationship that he won’t regret.

In the Mar. 11, 2019 episode of “Hello Counselor”, a man in his 20s expressed his concerns about him and his mum financially supporting his older brother and feeling underappreciated while his older brother doesn’t work at all. Hearing the situation between him and his older brother, Yuqi felt frustrated and, in the hopes of encouraging the brother, shared her own experiences of moving to Korea from China for the chance to become an idol. She talked about how she was not reliant on her parents after moving to Korea and emphasised that there is no shame in working any job when you are working hard for your own money.
