In 2015, J BLACK had appeared in Mnet "Dancing 9" Season 3 as a hidden card and in 2016, he was invited as a judge on Mnet "Hit The Stage". Some of his other appearances also include MBC "I Live Alone", SBS "Running Man" and "Master In The House".

With that being said, J BLACK had released his song 'Move, Groove, Smooth' on July 13. You can check out the music video below!

Compared to K-Pop music video and choreography that we frequently see, you might notice that the style of dancing is actually very different and unique. In Korea, this style of dancing is called 'girlish'.

This style does not have particular set of moves but rather focuses on the small, sharp and quick movements that are bound to draw the attention of people. Of course, we also cannot forget to point out that male dancers dancing to girlish mostly put on heels, giving them the extra star factor.

J BLACK had shared in an interview with SBS that he actually has 3 different egos. The first being himself, the second is being J BLACK (a crazy dancer) and finally J PINK (gender fluid dancer performing mainly with heels).

From the music video, many could tell that he was portraying more of his J PINK sides.

Together with a group of dancers, some from his team, Pinky Cheeks, they were spectacular in portraying the message that he was sending out through the lyrics.

Those who had already seen the music video were also amazed by how unique and eye-catching his dance style was.

It is not a common genre seen in the K-Pop industry and K-Pop fans had also left many positive and encouraging comments, sharing that they hope to see a wide diversity of dance styles in the future.

J BLACK only started to dance when he was 25 years old (Korean age) and for some, it can be considered rather late. Despite late start, he had put in a lot of effort in practice, training and even took part in many competitions. His hard work had paid off and is also known world wide for his unique and one of a kind dance style.
