Here Are All The Amazing Nominees Of The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)

With 2021 coming to a close, it is that time of the year again. We're talking of course about awards season! The hard work of artists throughout the year will finally be rewarded with awards and accolades by fans and critics alike and we could not be more excited for the same. 

One of the most anticipated nights of the year, the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards or 2021 MAMA, which boasts of being the world's number 1 K-Pop music award, has been scheduled to be held on December 11, 2021, at 6 PM KST. Nominees for various categories of the 2021 MAMA have also been revealed, creating quite a buzz in the K-Pop community. 

In addition, the criteria for deciding the winners of the Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year categories will not include fan votes anymore. However, digital performance, physical album sales, music video performance, and global music platform performance, or in other words, streaming numbers will have a considerable weightage in the same and as such, will be important deciding factors. 

Categories that will determine winners based entirely on voting are Worldwide Icon of the Year and Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10. Voting lines will be open from November 4, 2021 (6PM KST). You can read more about it below!
