So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello, Kpopmap readers! I'm Jaune, a proud K2YWE from the Philippines.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I came across BLANK2Y on August 23, 2022. On August 24, I got to know them more through their videos in their YouTube channel. I decided to join the fandom on August 25 and made a twitter account.

What are the reasons why this rookie group is your favorite group?

I really love their discography. Also, I always see videos about their interactions with the fans and I can say that they are the sweetest. Maybe that's the reason why my heart belongs to them.

For the readers who are completely new to the group and members, can you introduce them with your own words?

BLANK2Y is a shining rookie boy group under Keystone Entertainment. There are 9 members in the group - DK, Louis, DongHyuk, SiWoo, Mikey, U, YoungBin, SungJun, and SoDam. These 9 amazing talented people can dance, sing, and rap.

Who caught your attention at first and why? Did you know any members prior to their debut?

SungJun caught my attention first because I knew him in "W Project 4". Also, YoungBin was in "I-LAND".

Do you have a bias yet? If yes, tell us why.

My bias is SungJun. He is so cute and I really like his voice color, and I get the feeling of wanting to protect him everytime.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

I recommend 'Thumbs Up' since it's my fave title track. As for the B-side track, it's the fan song 'Constellation' from their first mini album. It's nice to hear these good songs every single day.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or other from your favorite group or bias?

Their pre-debut reality show is highly recommended. It's called "BLANK2Y'S". They are bonding with each other throughout the show and it's really fun to watch.

Do you have a dream subunit/unit?

A sub-unit consisting of BLANK2Y members born in 2001 (SiWoo, Mikey, U, and YoungBin).

If you have a chance to cook for the group, what will you cook for them?

If given the chance, I would cook a Filipino dish called Chicken Adobo.

What are the things you are looking for in their future activities?

For their music, I hope there's still that "This is BLANK2Y" factor. I'm really looking forward to BLANK2Y'S growth as an artist.
