Kpopmap Fan Interview: A Korean iE Talks About Her Favorite Group TEMPEST & Her Bias HwaRang

There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other’ stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

 

SeongHyun is the next fan to answer our questions. She is from Korea but moved to Australia and is a fan of TEMPEST and her bias is HwaRang. Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

 

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hi, I’m SeongHyun. I’m from Gwangju, South Korea but we moved to Australia last year.

 

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I heard the news that Hanbin, HyungSeop and LEW are debuting together so I joined the fandom in December 2021.

 

What are the reasons why this rookie group is your favorite group?

TEMPEST is talented even if they are a new K-Pop group but in every performance and every single video they are posting, I can see their personalities and them loving each other. Their music is especially healing for me.

 

For the readers who are completely new to the group and members, can you introduce them with your own words?

For our New iE, we welcome all the new fans/members to our fandom here in iE Fandom we are one big happy Family!

 

Who caught your attention at first and why? Did you know any members prior to their debut?

Hanbin caught my attention first, he is always cheerful and always smiling, and he has a unique background.

 

Do you have a bias yet? If yes, tell us why.

My bias is HwaRang. He has a funny personality, and he likes teasing his members.

 

What do you particularly like in this debut title track? Do you have a favorite B-side?

My favorite title track is ‘Bad News’
 
My favorite B-Side is ‘Bad At Love’, the lyrics are so good.

 

 

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or other from your favorite group or bias?

I’d like to recommend their debut VLive, I always rewatch this video cause I’m happy for them that they finally debut.

 

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

I recommend their ‘Bad News’ performance.

 

Can you share with readers the first-ever picture you’ve saved of your bias on your phone?

HwaRang was in “Under Nineteen” at that time.

 

Can you recommend a cute or funny video (30s)/gif of your bias to our readers?

This video is so cute…

 

Name a variety show/content show that you would love to see your bias on? Tell us why.

I like to see them on “Weekly Idol “, I want to know all about them through a variety of games and special talks sessions.

 

Can you recall a moment where you cried/laughed with your bias?

I laughed at this moment, he’s so funny and adorable.
