Kpopmap Fan Interview: A Mexican N.Fia Talks About N.Flying And Her Bias Cha Hun

There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other' stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Erika is the next fan to answer our questions. She is from Mexico and is a fan of N.Flying and more particularly of Cha Hun! Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hi, my name is Erika, I’m a physics student from Mexico, I’m an N.Fia.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

In 2020, I was watching videos on YouTube and then I saw a video of FNC’s artists debut, when I noticed N.Flying debut. I was so shocked because of Cha Hun, the guitar player, and I immediately search about him and N.Flying.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

Because of their voices, instrumentals, songs, and personalities. When I watched them I felt so happy. I'm the kind of person that usually doesn't listen to music, but when I meet them and listen to their music it’s like a new experience, something that I had forgotten how it feels.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

Hun, because of his visuals and how talented he’s with the guitar.

Who is your bias, and why?

Hun. I really don't know why, but when I see him I feel so calm and happy. He is very kind, intelligent, sweet, so, so talented, and of course, handsome.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

'The Real' and 'Blue Scene'. 'The Real' is incredibly powerful, and 'Blue Scene' is very relaxing for me.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

The song 'It’s Fine' has a compelling meaning.

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

I’m actually studying Korean, and sometimes with the pressure of college and daily life I watch N.Flying videos or I remember their kind words of support for us fans, and I do feel more comfortable thanks to that. However, every member make me believe that I can achieve anything I wish for, and that rewards are always harvested from work well done.

What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying?

To meet other fans and feel like you’re part of something big.

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

I would like very much if they could gain more recognition, as N.Flying and as individual artists. Each one of the members is very talented. I think it’s very common and easy to judge people based on appearances, but they are truly dedicated to their fans and they do care deeply about us.

To Hun: Hun, when I feel down I look at you and I feel more calm. I remember your words and all your effort in the band, and I feel much more motivated, I love you so much.
