Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello, I'm Deeksha. I'm 22 years old and a college student from India.

Who is your favorite Korea actor/actress? And how and when did you become a fan?

I'm a huge fan of Seo InGuk. As we all know, he's a multi-talented actor and a brilliant singer. I came to know about him through "Doom At Your Service", which aired in 2021, in which he was casted opposite to Park BoYoung. At first, I was so much fascinated by his versatile acting skills and of course, I shouldn't forget to mention his sexy looks. I've never imagined myself doing fangirling and going crazy over an actor but here I am because I can't resist the charm and talent Seo InGuk has. After "Doom At Your Service", I researched more about him and watched his other dramas too and all of them are quite good and entertaining. The more I came to know about him, the more I fell for him. One more thing that made me admire him the most is the amount of hardwork he did in past years. All the fame he has today is just because he worked tirelessly for it and on top of that, he deserve it. There is not a single day when I don't listen to his songs. There are a lot of things that makes him special out of all the actors.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite actor?

There are a lot of reasons. I can even write a book on why I love Seo InGuk (haha). Well, despite being one of the best actors in Korea, he's so down to earth. I love the way how he interacts with his fans. Let's not forget his bubbly personality. He's so humble and sweet towards everyone. If we talk about his acting skills, his eyes itself speaks a lot. It's so hard to act through eyes but he does that flawlessly, his eyes can change the emotions in a single second. That's what I love about him the most because he has that talent and he keeps on improving it. The amount of perfection he has in his acting - I've never seen such a fine actor like him. If we talk about his singing, then his voice is so healing that I can listen to it all day. He released an album recently after 5 years which is " LOVE&LOVE" and I love it, it has two songs 'My Love' and 'Be My Melody'. Both of them are my favourite. I still regret not finding him earlier.

Can you recommend dramas or movies starring your favorite actor for new fans?

Well, personally I love all of his dramas but if i could recommend then if you want something deep and full of emotions plus mystery then go for "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes". It's my own favourite after "Doom At Your Service" which is fantasy in genre and is internationally hit because of the plot, so fans who like fantasy dramas with romance then they can go for it. Then there is "Cafe Minamdang", "Shopping King Louie", "Squad 38", "Remember You", and "High School King of Savvy", "The King's Face" and "Reply 1997". These all are my all time favourite. Also his recent movie "Project Wolf Hunting" is in theaters right now. He did different genres throughout his career untill now.

Do you have an all-time favorite scene? Can you describe it or share a video?

So there's a scene in "Doom At Your Service" at the end of episode 13 where Tak DongKyung (Park BoYoung) and MyulMang (Seo InGuk) remember everything and they confront each other. I think this is one of the most heartbreaking scenes of the drama, because the amount of emotions they've put out in it looks so realistic and sad. The facial expressions Seo InGuk displayed in that scene were beyond words. I can't even describe properly how perfectly he acted in that scene. The director also praised him for that, saying he dominated that scene. I even get goosebumps every time I watch it. It's as sad as if I'm watching it for the first time every time. The amount of sadness and helplessness he showed in that scene, you can even see it in his eyes. I don't think I can ever forget his face from that particular scene.

What was your favorite answer given by your favorite actor in an interview?

So there is his old interview, where he went to a variety show with his mom. It was from when he was new to the industry. The interviewers asked about the occupation of his mom and his mom hesitated to tell them because they weren't that well off when he was a child but InGuk didn't hesitate at all. He told the interviewer that her mother used to collect boxes and steel on a cart. He was not embarrassed to tell the people about ther hardwork his mother had done to raise him and he was proud to say that. I think that was the best answer he gave because he was honest about everything and didn't hesitate for once.

What is your favorite actor's influence on your daily life or yourself?

There are a lot of times in everyone's life when we feel low and when nothing's happening the way we want it to. In those times, Seo InGuk is the only one who can make me smile. Even his single update on social media can brighten up the environment. I watch his old videos, his interviews, his dramas, I listen to his songs whenever I feel down. I do that a lot. One of my all time favourite song is 'Seasons of the Heart'. It's so good and healing. He plays an important role in my daily life. I even started his fanpage on Instagram (_sig.heartrider__), and my day is just incomplete without him. Because of him, I also made a lot of friends from different parts of the world through the fanpage and we cannot survive a single day without fangirling. It's like he's the most important part of our lives.

What genre do you want your favorite actor to appear in? What's the reason?

He have worked in alot of different kinds of genres. But I really really want to see him in a proper rom-com where he's like a dashing CEO because I feel like he has all the looks to portray a hot and handsome CEO. Apart from that, I really wish if he work in more fantasy dramas or movies because it suits him a lot. He was fantabulous in "Doom At Your Service". I wish to see him in more mystery and action dramas too. Actually he can pull off any genre he has that talent to portray every character perfectly. Basically he's a all rounder in all genres.

Which actors would you like your favorite actor to act with? What's the reason?

I wish I could see him and Park BoYoung together again for a drama or movie. They really made a great couple in "Doom At Your Service" and their chemistry is outstanding. Right now, my only wish is that we get a reunion project for them. They worked in fantasy drama, but I think they will do well in other genres too. Their fans are crazy about their both onscreen and offscreen chemistry. We even gave them a name "Bboing". It's a combination of both of their names. Hope to see them together in future . I'm sure all Bboing fans will go insane if they'll do a reunion project in future.

If you could spend the day with them, what would you want to do together?

First of all, I will faint after knowing that I will get to spend whole day with Seo InGuk. I mean, it's like a dream come true to me. First, we will eat something delicious because I know how much he loves to eat. In between our lunch date, I will look at him from time to time, like there's no tomorrow (haha). I know that's creepy but I can't help myself. Then, we will go to do ice skating. I can even imagine me and Seo InGuk holding hands together while doing skating. I will fall down purposely so that he will fall on me like a K-Drama scene and we'll have a romantic moment. OMG what's wrong with me. Then we'll go to beach side to calm ourselves down after having that "romantic moment" and have a evening walk together watching sunset and talking about random things feeling the cold breeze and InGuk will give me his jacket because I get cold easily. After that, we'll go home and cook dinner together while playing around with each other. I don't think I should go any further (haha).

What do you think is the most underrated work by your favourite actor ?

To be honest, all the dramas, movies, and albums of Seo InGuk are quite popular internationally but I think his dramas "Remember You" and "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" are quite underrated. I mean, these two dramas are quite different and amazing to watch. Those who haven't watched these two dramas should go for it because they're not like the usual K-Dramas that we watch. They have far more interesting concept and story. I love these two dramas a lot.

If you could be in any scene with your favourite actor, which scene would it be and why?

It's really hard to answer because I love every scene he did in his dramas but if you ask me, then it would be from drama "Doom At Your Service"- the "Ferris Wheel Scene" from episode 8. I love the whole amusement park scene, especially that ferris wheel kissing scene. I think it was beautiful. There's also one more scene that is from "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes". I think it's from episode 13, where he was sitting on the floor and the female lead was sitting on the bed and he lie down on her lap after saying something to her and she hugs him. That scene was so beautiful to watch.

What do you have in common with your favourite actor ?

There are few things that we both have in common, like he's a foodie. Me too, like him, I also enjoy eating delicious food all the time. He has rhinitis and get cold easily. I also hate winters because I have rhinitis too. I hope he's taking good care of himself because winter's almost there and those who have rhinitis, winters can get really irritating.
