Kpopmap Fan Interview: An Italian ATINY Talks About Her Favorite Group ATEEZ & Her Bias HongJoong

There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other' stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

HI! I'm one of the admin of Ateez Italia (@AteezItalia_) and I'm, of course, from Italy!

How and when did you enter the fandom?

In 2018, a few days before the ATEEZ debut, I found a video of this group called KQ Fellaz and their song 'FROM'.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

I love them because they are charismatic, energetic and love their fans.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

It was HongJoong who caught my attention at first because of his rap in 'FROM'.

Who is your bias, and why?

It is still be HongJoong. He was the first one who caught my attention first and now because he is pure and sincere.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

I recommend 'Wonderland' from the title track and 'Promise' for the B-side.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

I'd like to recommend 'Black or White' - BY.HONGJOONG because of the reason why he decided to cover this Michael Jackson's song.

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

I would like to recommend every cover dance ATEEZ made because you can completely check how amazing they are since predebut!

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

What is your biggest dream for your favorite group/bias aside from being Happy and Healthy?

I wish to see them perform at Grammy Music Awards, they are working hard and they totally deserve it.

Is there particular information that you want to say to new fans because they mostly don't know about it?

Maybe not too many ATINY know this, but in the KQ FELLAZ episodes, while they were in the USA, someone stole HongJoong's laptop and he had to remake all the worked he's done till that moment.

If you go to only one, would you go to a concert, fan meeting, or fan sign?

As I went already to a their concert and fansign, I'd like to attend a Fan Meeting and maybe ask them some questions I'm curious about

If you have a chance to cook for the group, what will you cook for them?

As Italian, I'd like to cook Carbonara for them! But the REAL Carbonara, in the Italian style ㅋㅋ

If you can spend a day with your bias, where will you go and what will you do?

I'd like to go to a Museum and talk about our favourite artists! As we have similar taste I'm sure we could talk a lot.

Do you have a dream subunit/unit? (It can be with a fellow member or another K-Pop idol).

I wish I could see JongHo singing with KiHyun of MONSTA X! They both have great voices.

What about your bias do you relate to the most?

Butterflies! He always said ATINY are the butterflies of ATEEZ.

Are there any words from the members you would like to share?

"No matter who you are and who you become, we will be always by your side" -Kim HongJoong.
