After debuting with MONSTA X back in 2015, Im Changkyun would soon become known as 'I.M' and for being the youngest member within the group (Maknae), Lead Rapper, Sub Vocalist, Producer and Songwriter of the group. It wouldn't be long until he would answer fans long awaited questions about becoming a solo artist in 2021 with the official released of his first EP [ Duality ] (Although throughout his career I.M has received attention and interest from fans for his features and songs; Madeleine (2016), Horizon (2019) and Need to Know (2020). He would also take part in a project headed by a former producer and artist Junggigo for the single of SoulBySel titled 'NVERMIND'. He would also be present, take part in the YouTube series 'BaVerse' alongside other artists such as Woodz.
Not soon after in 2022, StarShip Entertainment and I.M would announce his new path as a solo artists underneath a different company (Sony Music Korea) and would remain an official member of Monsta X, and still actively take part in producing and writing many songs for the group.

Apart from numerous artists or modelling promotions and activities, I.M has constantly been showing off his charms as a solo artist and what he can provide to new fans and the general public. Even expanding his reach with Sony Music Korea by opening a content page and website similar to a fan cafe for all international fans to interact, and gain private exclusive updates from I.M himself.
Monsta X was booked and busy throughout 2022 and 2023 with different stages, performances and music releases. Some of the most current and most talked fan favourites including: SWING (Single), REASON EP (EP that featured the title track 'Beautiful Liar', Late Night Feels (and various remixes) (2022), If with U Single, Shape of Love EP and more.
Although most of the members are currently fulfilling their time within the military, members Hyungwon and Shownu has since debuted as a duo unit and have been promoting actively and has released their debut EP [ THE UNSEEN ] and a remake of the single 'I Hate You' (2024 Remake, Spotify Singles).
