On November 20, 2023 KST (Korean Standard Time), company and entertainment agency ANDMARQ would make an official announcement while revealing a new profile image pictorial of PENTAGON's HongSeok. ANDMARQ would state within the post, that the singer and actor would begin numerous activities underneath the company.

Before starting his career with PENTAGON, HongSeok first auditioned for different companies. Despite failing an audition for JYP, HongSeok became a trainee for YG Entertainment and even appear on YG Entertainment's "MIX & MATCH" the show that brought iKON and WINNER.

He later found success after joining his previous company in 2015 and debuted in PENTAGON in 2016 with the self entitled 7 track EP "PENTAGON". The EP consisted of the following tracks: 'Wake Up (Intro)', 'Pentagon', 'Gorilla' (Title Track), 'Lukewarm', 'Smile', 'Organic Song'(E'Dawn, Yuto, Woo Seok with Hui) and You Are (Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yanan and Kino).

From being a special MC for "Simply K-Pop", being an contestant on "King of Masked Singer", to various web drama roles, the idol is also known for appearing on the"Mens Health Korea" July 2019 Issue.

Fans of PENTAGON are hoping for more promotions, modelling deals or different campaigns for the artist, and have hopes of seeing actor HongSeok once again.

PENTAGON has released numerous songs throughout this year: 'Shh' (Single, Japanese, 2023), 6th mini album "PADO" EP (2023), "With UNIVERSE" (Single album, 2023). Although many of the members are no longer with Cube Entertainment, the members have stated in different Instagram Stories or live streams that PENTAGON is still a group despite the members signing with other companies, assuring fans of the groups close connection with each other.

Recently, PENTAGON's Yuto set up a new company and released new pictorials, while PENTAGON's YeoOne (ChangGu) would announce his first solo fan concert in Korea.
