The ever growing friendship between Vanner and Pentagon fanbases ahead of 'Jackpot' release

Although it might be surprising to many new individuals who are just entering the K-Pop or South Korean music scene in general, it could be odd to see fandoms getting along or even considerably well known even if you don't follow the group. Most notably Carats x Aroha, Monbebe x Carat, Fuse x Universe and more. 

With the help of different variety shows, companies often being pretty close to each other and sometimes even over lapping schedules with other artists, this helps the artist bloom into different unexpected friendships! Most famously the 97 line! (BTS Jungkook, Got7 Yugeyeom and BamBam, Seventeen's Mingyu, The8 and DK, Astro Cha Eun Woo, NCT Jaehyun and StrayKids Bangchan). The nickname of their group coming from their shared year of birth. 

A friendship that has been blossoming since 2022 - 2023 have been the surprising friendship between two fandoms: VVS (Vanner Fandom) and Universe (Pentagon Fandom). 

Some fans can't help but state due to the comfortable appearances Hyesung and Sungkook would become a familiar guest host on the show, and Universe would often send comforting and pleasing messages to the members during the live radio show. Mentioning Vanner's Peak Time performances, the confidence and personal growth of the members since originally having to fund their album by the crowd funding platform makestar and even being signing by a new company KLAP Entertainment!

This would lead many Vanner fans to attend the nightly radio show, and even appearing in different comments about the show asking about Pentagon, and thanking Wooseok for having them on the show. This would start the slow brew to the fandom's friendships. 

Vanner would surprise fans with their first EP [ VENI VIDI VICI ] which would contain 6 tracks on August 21st 2023, Including a Japanese VER Single of Performer and Ponytail following the release. Later, they would release [ All I want for Christmas is You ] Single 2023, before fans would be treated to a new announcement and new EP titled [ Capture the Flag ]. 

The album itself showcasing different charms and aura of the members throughout the following 6 tracks: JACKPOT (Title Track), PONYTAIL (Korean VER), After Party, Be my Love, CIRCUIT and Across the Stars.

Universe couldn't help but notice familiar names once the album credits would be shared on the r/kpop community, where Pentagon Hui & Wooseok would be credited as lyricists and co composers for the title song 'JACKPOT'. Fellow members of the group BTOB would also be noticed in the credits of the album. 

Vanner has since officially released the EP [ Capture the Flag ] on your favourite music streaming platform, and has since started numerous promotions for the EP on programs like: Genie Music 4K Jackpot, Highlight Album Medley Official Release Teaser, a new playlist has been added to the companies channel as well; 'Capture the flag'.
