        The autumn season brings sentimental feelings, waves of nostalgia, and incredible K-Dramas that keep us glued to our seats. One such drama is tvN's youthful coming-of-age series "Twinkling Watermelon". It has a talented cast in RyeoUnSeor InAChoi HyukWook, and Shin EunSoo.

        "Twinkling Watermelon" follows the story of Ha EunGyeol (RyeoUn), a student who excels in academics but also is a genius guitarist. He ends up traveling back in time to the year 1995 where he meets the teenage version of his father, Ha YiChan (Choi HyunWook). In order to return to the present, EunGyeol must complete an unknown task. As the story unfolds, the characters live out their youth, fall in love, and embark on a path of self-discovery.

        There has been many moments of laughter, as well as tears. Here's a few touching scenes from "Twinkling Watermelon" that moved our hearts.

         

        1. EunGyeol And His Family Playing In The Snow

        Early on in the series audiences are shown various moments from EunGyeol's childhood. Before transforming into a model student, he was an innocent adolescence who wished to enjoy the simple things in life.

        Despite being disabled, his family continued to showcase an overflowing joy. They were simply happy to have each other, shown through their laughter and smiles while playing in the snow. It's a simple moment, but filled with such heartfelt emotions that could bring many others to tears.

         

        2. Ha YiChan Dancing With His Grandmother

        Ha YiChan is a troublemaker, often causing stress for his grandmother and Ha EunGyeol. Despite his mischievous nature, he carries a kind heart that provides a special type of warmth to others. Seeing Ha YiChan dance with his grandmother and witnessing their heartfelt relationship causes a wave of emotions to swell in your chest.

         

        3. Father And Son Guitar Lessons

        Often times, EunGyeol feels like the protective parent who just wants to keep his family members safe. However, there are instances where he lets his guard down and lives in the moment like a true high school student.

        As he sits down with YiChan and demonstrates how to play the guitar, you can feel your heart start to tighten. There's a feeling of sentimentality in this scene that makes you want to reach for a tissue box while thinking back on your own family.

         

        4. EunGyeol Finally Meets His Mother

        After spending so much time with his father, EunGyeol finally gets the opportunity to meet his mother, Yoon CheongAh (Shin EunSoo). For a majority of his life, he's received nothing but an abundance of love and care from the mother he's come to know and love.

        However, in meeting her teenage self, he's stricken with sadness as he comes to find out just how much she has struggled in her youth. In order to provide CheongAh with a voice, he becomes her tutor and sets forth to teach her sign language. You can just feel the sincerity and affection EunGyeol has for his mother, a feeling that transcends time itself.

         

        5. Quality Time Between Ha YiChan And Yoon CheongAh

        As the drama continues to progress forward, so does Ha YiChan and Yoon CheongAh's relationship. While continuing to remain as friends, they coincidentally meet at the bookstore and decide to sit down at a nearby café. What follows next is a scene filled with sincerity and budding romance.

        While it's still a one-sided crush on CheongAh's part, you can see the possibility of YiChan slowly falling for her. His earnestness in learning sign language in order to communicate with her and her genuine laughter serves as serotonin boost that you can use on any difficult day.
