A FANTASY Talks About Her Favorite Group SF9 And Her Biases InSeong And Chani

Raima is a FANTASY who started from liking SF9 RoWoon' from his drama "The King's Affection", to getting to know the SF9 members (including her now biases, InSeong and Chani) deeper through the group's music videos and variety shows.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello! I'm Raima. I'm 17 and I'm a high school student from Bangladesh. I'm a FANTASY since October 2022.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I think it was September 2022, when I started watching "The King's Affection". After watching Park EunBin's brilliant acting in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", I wanted to watch more K-Dramas of her. Then I found "The King's Affection". When I was watching it, I was really mesmerized by RoWoon's acting, voice and visual. At that time I searched about him and came to know that he is an idol and a member of a boy band, named SF9. Since I liked him a lot, I wanted to watch some videos of him. So I watched a video where they were dancing in 'O Sole Mio'. That song just caught my mind & I wanted to listen it again and again. After that I watched it's stage performance and I was really so surprised. Because it was too good. Back then I didn't like rap at all. But after listening their rap, my mind changed. Then I searched about them & watched stage performances of 'Summer Breeze', 'Shine Together', 'K.O' & 'Mamma Mia'. As I enjoyed their songs a lot, I decided to stan them in October 2022.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

I think they are one of the most talented and coolest groups. Almost every song of theirs is great, which gives me energy and reduces stress. I think they have the most lovely as well as powerful dance moves and jaw-dropping choreographies. I enjoy this a lot. Besides, I like the bond between the members and their interactions with FANTASYs. They are so friendly with FANTASYs, which really comforts me. They love and respect their fans a lot, which I love the most about them. Also their unique visuals are no joke, and that can be a reason too.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

RoWoon caught my attention first, because his acting was really great in "The King's Affection". He portrayed every emotions perfectly and his visual was on point. Also his chemistry with his co-actors was great. It was a great pleasure to watch him.

Who is your bias, and why?

This is a very hard question to answer and I think most FANTASYs will agree with this fact. As it's really hard to choose a bias in SF9. Because everyone has their own charms and they're wonderfully different. So it was quite difficult for me too but I managed to choose my bias. Although I couldn't just choose only one of them as my bias, so I choose two of them and they are InSeong and Chani. I really love InSeong's unique and melodious voice, his high notes, dance and his English speaking skill also. He is always the one to make me laugh. He is a comedic king. On the other hand I just love Chani's cool rap, his dancing skills, his overloaded cuteness, his smile and sometimes his unexpected and funny behavior. Also he is an aegyo genius. And the last reason is their mesmerizing visual.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

There are a lot of beautiful title tracks to watch. Among them are: 'O Sole Mio', 'Enough', 'Now Or Never', 'Tear Drop', 'Trauma', 'Good Guy', 'Shine Together', 'Summer Breeze' and 'RPM'.

And my all time favorite B-side tracks are: 'Echo', 'Lullu Lalla', 'My Story My Song', 'Into The Night', 'Love Colour', 'Hey Hi Bye', 'The Beat Goes On' and 'Photograph'.

Dear SF9,
Thanks for making me happy everyday. You are doing a really great job together. I wish you a very long journey together with a lot of success. Thanks a million for making so many beautiful songs. I love to hear those songs everyday and everytime. Sometimes I just wonder how can someone make such a great song with this kind of deep meaningful lyrics. Hope to see you in Bangladesh someday. While expressing my fellings, these lines from 'On And On' by Youngbin and Inseong are coming to mind:
