After 9 whole years, Pledis Entertainment is reportedly preparing to debut a boy group in early 2024. This will be the company's first boy group since SEVENTEEN. So, attention is focused on the member lineup of this new boy group.

According to an exclusive report by JTBC, this new boy group under Pledis will have a smaller number of members - around 5 or 6. Foreign members are also included in this lineup. Given Pledis' track record of creating extremely talented and successful idol groups, such as AFTER SCHOOL, NU'EST, and SEVENTEEN, expectations are high for this new 5th-generation boy group.

The trainees who are part of this upcoming group are referred to as Pledis Boyz by fans. They were spotted at SEVENTEEN's fan-meeting, raising anticipation for the lineup reveal.

He was born on March 26, 2006, making him 17 years old. He is currently enrolled in Hanlim Multi Art School in the Department of Applied Music. He is 183cm tall, and his MBTI is INFJ.

2. JJ (Justin Jay Takagi)

Hugely popular and beloved trainee JJ, who is known for being a former member of the pre-debut boy group Trainee A, is rumored to be in the debut lineup of Pledis' new boy group. Many fans are looking forward to seeing this talented young trainee debut. JJ is Japanese-American with dual citizenship. He was born on January 27, 2006, making him 17 years old. His specialties are krumping and locking, and he has won many dance competitions.

3. Han JiHoon

Former Trainee A member Han JiHoon is also rumored to be a part of Pledis' upcoming boy group. He is Korean, born on March 28, 2006 (17 years old). 4. Lee DaEul

"Boys Planet" contestant Lee DaEul is rumored to be in the member lineup of the new boy group of Pledis Entertainment. He stole hearts during his appearance on "Boys Planet", and now, fans are ready to see him debut. DaEul is Korean, born on April 6, 2004, making him 19 years old. 5. Lee KyungMin

Last year brought us many cute new faces in K-Pop, who we still cannot get over. You surely know ENHYPEN’s Ni-Ki, NCT’s Yuta, or the Japanese members of TREASURE - all these idols made us appreciate adorable Japanese features and aura. These talented boys have also proved how hard-working and talented they are, despite the language barrier that some of them have faced. For that reason, we are especially thrilled about the 2022 debuts.

We prepared a special list of the most beloved Japanese K-Pop idols, who debuted or yet will in 2022. Here are the cuties bound to steal fans' hearts this year.

1. Mikey - BLANK2Y

Mikey’s birth name is Morisaki Daisuke, he is 21 years old and grew up in Hyogo, Japan. He participated in the second season of the show “Produce 101 Japan”.

Based on BLANK2Y’s Twitter and YouTube videos we can tell that he has a quite shy personality which actually makes him even more adorable.

You can expect to see more from Mikey really soon - the group is debuting next week on May 24 with a mini-album “K2Y I : CONFIDENCE [Thumbs Up]”

2. JJ - Trainee A

JJ’s birth name is Justin Jay Takagi, he is 16 years old and grew up in Hyogo, Japan. He is Japanese-American, so he speaks Japanese and English fluently as well as Korean. His special skill is dancing, he won the “DANCE ALIVE HERO’S” street dance competition several times. He’s an experienced idol - he was a part of the group AMEZARI RED STARS, which he left in 2020.

JJ has an inimitable cool look of a dancer. Besides his extraordinary looks, you can tell from the start that he draws people easily thanks to his easy-going personality. If you’re looking for a new bias, you should definitely look out for JJ’s debut with Trainee A this year!

3. RiHan - JWiiver

RiHan’s birth name is Choi YeonSik, he is 24 years old and he is Korean-Japanese. He’s the choreography master of the group. You can see him very often on JWiiver’s Tiktok account, where he uploads genius dance videos.

The idol always serves great visuals in his photos with a “boyfriend material” style.

RiHan debuted with JWiiver in February this year with a mini-album “JTrap”.

4. Keiju - JYP LOUD

Keiju’s birth name is Okamoto Keiju, he is 15 years old, and he grew up in Tokyo, Japan. He is a member of the JYP LOUD group which was formed through an audition program “LOUD”. He represented Japan on the show “Stage K” where he performed “Beautiful” by iKON for which he was praised by the group itself.

Keiju is a real sweetheart - he takes plenty of selfies, displaying his aegyo. If you long for more of this wholesome content, you should definitely check JYPE LOUD’s SNS where the idol submits it regularly.

JYP LOUD hasn’t confirmed their exact debut date yet, so you might have to wait for a little yet to see Keiju’s performances with the group.

You might recognize K from the Korean survival show “I-LAND” - he is an experienced idol trainee loved by the netizens. He’s a member of &AUDITION boys which is managed by HYBE Labels Japan. Even though the group will be debuting in Japan, we noticed that it has drawn a lot of interest among Korean and international audiences. We’re convinced that K will win many hearts with &AUDITION boys globally and also in Korea!

K’s birth name and hometown haven’t been publicly revealed, the idol is 24 years old. In “I-LAND” he made it to the finale, tho he wasn’t able to get into the winner group ENHYPEN. Despite being eliminated, K gained a lot of popularity, because of his determination and authentic personality.

K is the oldest member of the group and has a very caring personality, which proves that he is a real sweetheart.

&AUDITION Boys’ exact debut date hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be attentively waiting to see K’s long-anticipated debut.
