It is currently the 6th most watched TV show on Netflix worldwide, according to data provided by FlixPatrol, as of September 27. It is also the 6th most-watched non-English TV show on Netflix, with a total of 1.7 million views in the week of September 18 to 24, as per Netflix Top 10.

The newly released K-Drama "Song Of The Bandits," which premiered on Netflix last September 22, is quickly garnering popularity among viewers. The drama went up the top 10 TV shows of Netflix worldwide in a matter of 2 days after it started streaming on the OTT platform. The period drama stars Kim NamGil, Girls' Generation's SeoHyun, Yoo JaeMyung, Lee HyunWook, and Lee HoJung.

During the Japanese occupation of South Korea, a group of Korean people sought refuge in the lawless territory of Jiandao, China. There, they banded together to protect their settlement from danger. Lee Yoon (Kim NamGil) is a Korean who initially serves under the Japanese military in South Korea. However, circumstances force him to abandon his old life and journey to Jiandao, China. In Jiandao, he adopts a bandit's life to safeguard the settlement and its inhabitants. Nam HeeShin (SeoHyun) conceals her true identity and assumes the role of a section chief in the railway bureau for the Japanese-controlled government in Korea. Choi Chung-Soo (Yoo JaeMyung) once served as an army commander in the Korean independence movement. Now, he leads the Korean community in Jiandao. Lee GwangIl (Lee Hyun-Wook) is a Japanese military officer who harbors hostility towards Lee Yoon. EonNyeon (Lee HoJung) is a contract killer known for her exceptional skill with firearms. She's hired to assassinate Lee Yoon and embarks on a journey to Jiandao to carry out her contract.
