Once again, Netflix has brought another hit series over from the world of K-Dramas. "Destined With You" has been making waves for its mesmerizing storyline and spellbinding character dynamics that leave audiences breathless. The JTBC drama sees Cho BoAh and RoWoon as its main leads.
"Destined With You" is about a forbidden book that was sealed 300 years ago, and how it makes its way into the hands of Lee HongJo (Cho BoAh). In order to find the cure to an unknown illness, Jang ShinYoo (RoWoon) seeks HongJo's help, as she's the only known person to bring out the book's full potential. They find out that their lives are more intertwined than they think, linked by an unbreakable bond of destiny.
Watching Cho BoAh and RoWoon on screen has been absolutely electrifying, producing many moments of pure happiness and bliss. The butterflies seem to be endless as they meet one another on screen. However, "Destined With You" isn't all romance as there's numerous scenes of pure comedic gold that has viewers smiling from ear to ear.

1. Lee HongJo Over Nature
At this point the love potion is in full effect, causing Jang ShinYoo to openly pine after Lee HongJo. His outward proclamations of affection constantly catch HongJo off guard, forming an uneasiness in her heart. Previously, she made a suggestion that the love potion simply needs to leave his body, and to do that, ShinYoo must drink countless bottles of liquids.
He does just that, but instead, he ends up having the constant urge to use the bathroom. While attempting to help HongJo carry several boxes, nature calls and yet, ShinYoo remains rooted in place. It's both oddly cute and extremely funny the way ShinYoo prioritizes seeing HongJo over tending to his natural bodily functions. The way his legs squirm is completely relatable and makes you giggle out of joy.
2. "Because Of You"
One of Jang ShinYoo's most iconic phrases from the drama has to be "Because of you." Early on in the series, he said this constantly to underline the fact that because of HongJo's misstep, he had now fallen in love due to a love potion.
The way he says it with a straight face in such a serious tone makes the corners of your lips automatically curl upwards into a smile. Since the first time, "Because of you" resonates in viewers' minds everywhere, providing laughter at any moment.
3. A Dog That's Deadly Cute
While attempting to conduct a spell to rid Jang ShinYoo of the love potion's effects, the pair was interrupted by a worried dog owner. Her distress was enough to make ShinYoo and HongJo put the disaster prevention spell on hold and search for lost dog, BongGil.
It didn't take too long to find the fur friend, however, at first glance, BongGil had the appearance of a waiting wolf ready to strike. He runs over to our two main characters, causing them to fall over in fright. They quickly regain their senses, sit upright, and realize that BongGil is ready to provide Jang ShinYoo with unwavering affection. With both BongGil and ShinYoo following Lee HongJo's commands, you cannot help but smile at their puppy-like innocence.
4. Failed Office Kiss
While our two main characters have currently accepted their innermost feelings, they are still tied to their previous love lines. Because of this, both parties show obvious signs of jealousy, despite not truly defining their relationship. In order to address these feelings of jealousy and betrayal, Jang ShinYoo calls Lee HongJo up to his office.
Once there, they have a heated conversation about the confusion of the constant mixed signals. In an attempt to prove that his feelings are true, ShinYoo pulls HongJo closer, becoming inches away from her face. As he's about to plant a kiss of his love, the two are unceremoniously interrupted by ShinYoo's coworker. From the way he pushes HongJo away to the look on her face is golden, causing viewers to be overcome with laughter in mere seconds.

"Destined With You" comes with intersecting love lines that have become increasingly more tangled in later episodes. It is a known fact that Jang ShinYoo and Kwon JaeKyung (Ha Joon) have both developed feelings towards Lee HongJo. While they're great as individuals, this has left HongJo at a crossroads.
With both men on her mind, HongJo becomes engrossed in a vivid daydream. In her daydream, both ShinYoo and JaeKyung are seen fighting over our heroine, as they appear increasingly silly and childlike. We wouldn't blame you if you end up grinning like crazy at this lovely, yet humorous exchange.
