It seems like a reoccurring phenomenon that once the weekend begins, Monday suddenly reappears without any warning. It's not surprising to be hit by the Monday blues and no amount of espresso shots could possibly help. But through K-Variety Round Up, we hope to provide the perfect serotonin boost needed to combat the start of the week.

Through this series, we focus on small happenings from various Korean variety shows that you might have missed over the past week/weekend. These clips might appear across social media feeds, but it can be difficult to watch everything, on top of working around our busy schedules.

That’s why Kpopmap is here to bring you the most entertaining clips to a screen near you! Now, take a look down below for a little energy boost on the first day of the week.

        1. Joo HyunYoung And Chuu's Aegyo Battle

Some celebrities become known for their outpouring charisma and cool outer appearance. Then there are those on the other side of the spectrum that look completely innocent and cute. Chuu most definitely falls into the latter category with her actions and visuals combined.

On MBC's "Radio Star", fans of the show received a two in one special when both Joo HyunYoung and Chuu show off their unbelievable aegyo. They went back and forth in an attempt to be cuter than the other person. They are living, breathing definitions of serotonin and human sunshine. It would be more difficult trying not to smile while watching these two in an impromptu aegyo battle.

        2. "I Live Alone" Photography Session

The fixed cast on "I Live Alone" are hilarious, providing an atmosphere of fun and excitement regardless if there's a guest or not. This week, their entertaining outing continues and we see them come together to take a number of photographs and videos. They try several concepts like constructing human pyramids to happily running across the field. The end result is endearing and the perfect remedy to cure your Monday blues.

        3. Pool Time With ChoCo

One of Mnet M2's newest reality shows, "ChoCo in Hollywood", focuses on the members of ChoCo as they take on one of their biggest challenges yet and prepare for their official debut. Much of the program shows their training progress and how they operate as artists. However, they do receive some downtime to relax and have fun.

With summer quickly approaching and the heat rising, even seeing the K-Pop trainees jump into a pool can be relaxing. Watching the ChoCo members have some water fun provides amazing comfort and peace. With the right amount of imagination, you can totally feel the cool, refreshing water envelope your entire body on even the hottest of days.

        4. Heart Signal 4 Kicks Off

Over the past few years, there has been an influx of Korean dating reality shows that bring individuals together to find love. While series like "Single's Inferno" and "Transit Love" have gained massive followings, you cannot forget about one of the shows that started it all: "Heart Signal".

After three long years, "Heart Signal" is finally back with its fourth and newest installment. This season looks to be just as sweet, with a little more spice as the participants become active in vying for attention from the very first day. Watching the show, you will certainly feel a whole swarm of butterflies occupy your chest. Heart fluttering romance is a surefire way to fight off the Monday blues in any capacity.

        5. MiJoo And MONSTA X's JooHoney Matching Vibes

It's such a heavenly treat to witness two K-Pop idols be on the same wavelength. Through YouTube series "HalMyungSoo", MiJoo and JooHoney meet, providing an influx of happiness and joy to fans. They match each other's vibe right away, leaving no room for dull akwardness. Watching their chaotic interactions will have your stomach sore from laughter all day long.

We hope with this edition of K-Variety Round Up, your Monday is filled with happiness and strength. Fighting!
