In the blink of an eye, the weekend is over and Monday looms upon us once again. Due to a number of reasons, the first day of the week can be one of the toughest to get through. Sometimes, not even the strongest cup of coffee can help us combat the Monday blues. But through K-Variety Round Up, we hope to provide the perfect serotonin boost to help make the Monday blues fly away.

Through this series, we focus on small happenings from various Korean variety shows that you might have missed over the past week/weekend. These clips might appear across social media feeds, but it can be difficult to watch absolutely everything, on top of tending to our busy schedules.

But that’s why Kpopmap is here to bring you the most heartwarming and entertaining clips right to the palm of your hand! Now, take a look down below for a little dose of happiness on this dreary Monday.

        1. Woo DoHwan's Endless Charms

Korean actors have an unspoken poise and charisma that radiates from head toe. Despite their cool, dashing outer appearance, many are absolute goofballs with unique and quirky tendencies.

If Monday is proving to be too difficult, hop into the world of Woo DoHwan on MBC's "I Live Alone". The actor brings audiences into his home and shows them a day in his life. He surprises everyone with his avant-garde drawing and collection of cute things. Woo DoHwan's reverse charms is endearing and will have you smiling from ear to ear.

        2. LE SSERAFIM Kazuha's Priceless Reaction

With the K-Pop industry going global, there are progressively more idols from outside of Korea. These idols bring their home country's culture and special habits.

There are a handful of K-Pop idols who hail from Osaka, Japan. It was discovered that if you point a finger gun to someone from Osaka and say "bang", they will automatically react to it. Osaka native, Kazuha, proves this to be fact on JTBC's "Knowing Bros". Her reaction is cute and dramatic, providing laughter to everyone in the room.

        3. SEVENTEEN Vernon's Girl Group Dance Cover

It's always a special treat when an idol treats fans and viewers alike to a cover dance, no matter the length. It's even better when they do cover dances from the opposite sex.

SEVENTEEN recently made an appearance on the latest episode of tvN's "Amazing Saturday" and as always, they were absolutely hilarious. There was a moment in the show where the boys were prompted to show off a special talent. While Vernon is known for his charismatic rapping, he claimed his special skill was dancing to girl group songs. He proceeded to do a wonderful cover of STAYC's 'Poppy', filling the room with an overwhelming warmth. There's no way you will be able to contain your smile after watching this.

        4. Playing Around On "Jinny's Kitchen"

"Jinny's Kitchen" might have reached its end, but the variety program left behind moments like these to act as a serotonin boost at any moment.

Here, the castmates gather around a moving camera and innocently ask if it likes them. The camera nods right away, moving in a wide circular motion to describe the amount of their love. The members of "Jinny's Kitchen" become completely immersed and continue to ask the same question to garner a bigger, more satisfying response. Your eyes won't be able to tear away from the screen due to the castmates' adorable reactions.

        5. BIGBANG's TaeYang And Min HyoRin's Love Story

Even if you're not in a relationship yourself, it's heartwarming to see someone so deeply and genuinely in love. On "You Quiz on the Block", TaeYang dishes on the love story between him and his beautiful wife, Min HyoRin.

The BIGBANG member addresses the rumor of how he made 'Eyes, Nose, Lips' in dedication to Min HyoRin. You can just see and feel the sincerity as TaeYang talks about their love story. Seeing the sparkle in his eyes and his smile progressively getting bigger as he talks about Min HyoRin will have you both jealous and overjoyed for the idol's happiness.

We hope with this edition of K-Variety Round Up, your Monday is filled with happiness and strength. Fighting!
