As fans of both K-Pop and K-Drama, we've realized how fastly spreading information, news, and events are. There is always something new and exciting being released every second, some gaining widespread popularity and becoming a trending stories. Others simply not reaching their desired audience due to how polarized social media and other relevant news outlets are now.
In a bid to sort of curb this in our own way, we created this themed article to sort of bring to your attention some of the key happenings in both K-Pop and K-Dramas that you may have missed or just to serve as a little reminder as well.
K-POP
1. ASTRO celebrates their 7th year anniversary
The global sensational group marked their 7th year anniversary this week. With a career filled with outstanding works and remarkable success already, we know they will continue to grow as artists and thrill the hearts of fans with amazing works for a very long time.
2. SEVENTEEN's BSS 6th win
BSS are simply not stopping in collecting their wins and with a song that good, it is frankly expected that they collect even more wins! Congratulations to the members.
3. HYBE and SM Entertainment saga continues
In the last couple of weeks, the HYBE and SM Entertainment saga has been on everyone's lips and feed. This week, earlier this week, the CEO SM released a video that gave a breakdown of the situation between both companies and tagged the acquisition of SM Entertainment's shares as hostile takeover. 4. It's comeback season!

Perhaps one of the hottest topics this week, it's been announced that BLACKPINK's JiSoo will be making her much anticipated solo debut this year. She also became the first Asian solo cover model for VOGUE France.
6. TWICE's 5th world tour announcement

7. Hwang MinHyun's thrills fans with a teaser of his upcoming title track 'Hidden Sense' from his solo debut album
The famous acting-dol is set to finally greet fans with his first mini album "Truth Or Lie" on the 27th of February. Are you excited?
8. BTS's JiMin solo debut
Its solo debut announcement week, as yet another idol whose fans have been eagerly calling for a solo debut is finally having one. JiMin is getting ready to greet fans with his first solo mini-album titled "FACE", this year. Check out the tracklist above.
9. STAYC's 2nd win!
STAYC's comeback is off to a successful start as the girl group got their first win for their hit song 'Teddy Bear' on Show Champion this week. Congratulations to the group and fans.
10. Mashiho was crowned the Artist of the Year 2022 by global fans.

Onew joins the list of ever-growing artists set to make a comeback in March. With the release of his first album "Circle", judging by these samplers alone, we already predict that Onew has yet another hit project with this one.
15. Apink comeback?!
Amidst talks of renewing the group's exclusive contract, IST Entertainment announced that Apink will greet fans with a new mini-album in April. Read more here.
