5 Netflix Original K-Dramas That Need To Be Made Into Games

Netflix is expanding as a platform, and the most recent development towards this end is the launch of Netflix Games. That's right, Netflix subscribers can now access an amazing roster of mobile games at no extra cost! This includes Netflix exclusives based on shows on the platform, as well as indie games and other popular classics. You can easily find them in your Netflix app! Now, as the number of games on Netflix has grown over the years, it had us thinking. What if Netflix were to make games based on their Korean originals? So, here are 5 Netflix original K-Dramas that would make the perfect mobile games!

 

1. "Squid Game"

It's no surprise that "Squid Game" would be the first on this list. The show inspired quite a few games online, but an official game from Netflix would break the internet, especially with another season coming. With a "survival of the fittest" format like in "PUBG: Battlegrounds", a "Squid Game" game could be the next big thing in the gaming world!

 

2. "Sweet Home"

A game based on "Sweet Home" where players can choose their characters and fight monsters, would be iconic. With the variety of interesting and beloved characters on the show, fans can live out their K-Drama fantasy as a part of their favorite horror world. The game would be immersive, exciting, and full of action as the increasing levels of difficulty bring on bigger monsters to beat.

 

3. "All Of Us Are Dead"

This list would not be complete without a zombie K-Drama, and "All Of Us Are Dead" seems to be the perfect fit for a mobile game! Players can play as individuals or in groups to make it out alive while taking out zombies left and right. The simulation can be amplified with dialogue and storytelling, too! This will allow players to "interact" as or with their favorite characters (yes, including those who unfortunately did not make it). We can already imagine how fun that would be!

 

4. "The School Nurse Files"

"The School Nurse Files" is truly an underrated gem when it comes to Netflix originals. Not only does it have an interesting premise, with negative energy manifesting into jelly-like creatures, but it also gives us a unique heroine to save the day - Ahn EunYoung (played by Jung YuMi in the drama). As a game, "The School Nurse Files" can be rather calming as you exorcise these jellies and build your friendship with Hong InPyo (Nam JooHyuk).

 

5. "Bloodhounds"

Finally, "Bloodhounds" has the perfect potential for a fighting/action game! Once again, in "Bloodhounds" the game, you could "choose your fighter" and defeat goons to earn gold and beat the final boss. You can think of games like "Mortal Kombat" or "Street Fighter" and place "Bloodhounds" in the same category. In fact, if "Bloodhounds" were to be made into a game, even non-fans of the K-Drama would check it out!
