        "The Priests" Movie

Now, "Wicked Nuns" is said to be the female version of the popular blockbuster film "The Priests", directed by Jang JaeHyeon and starring Kim YoonSeok and Gang DongWon. The film was not only a box office hit but also earned many accolades. It was also the film that launched Park SoDam to mainstream success in South Korea, earning her 9 awards. Needless to say, it was a huge success, and anticipation for the female version is inevitably high.

"The Priests" tells the story of a near-impossible exorcism carried out by Father Kim (played by Kim YoonSeok) and Deacon Choi (played by Gang DongWon). A demon wreaking havoc in the nation hides in a young girl's body, rendering her half-dead until Father Kim, assisted by Deacon Choi, is able to confront it head-on. Deacon Choi, who starts out from a point of skepticism, gradually comes to terms with his inner doubt and finally puts his life on the line to subdue the demon.
