"Hope Or Dope" or also known as "Juvenile Delinquency", returns with a sequel! "Hope Or Dope" followed the story of five teenagers who find hope to escape from their problems when they find a field of weed. Hoping that the money they will make will solve all the problems for them. But the season ends with their hope being crushed completely. "Hope Or Dope 2" continues their story of survival and how they find hope again.
The first episode of "Hope Or Dope 2" was released on 31st May. The lead cast of the drama include: Yoon ChanYoung, Won JiAn, Han SeJin, Yoon HyunSoo and Yang SeoHyun.

1. "Hope Or Dope 2" Gives Yet Another Hope For DaJung To Escape

As discussed before, in season 1 the field creates hope for the teenagers to escape their problems. They also find weed planted in a motel room, 'California Motel'. But just when they are about to steal them, the room has been emptied already and the drama ends at that. In "Hope Or Dope 2", we get to know that the field too was wiped out when they reached. Hence, all five had to return to their miserable lives.
In Season 1, Kyung DaJung (Won JiAn) was introduced as a high school student who apparently seems to live the best of her life with all the brands she wears. But reality is far worse than that. She is used as a drug mule and abused by her mother. Till one day, she gets involved in a murder case and escapes and takes refuge in the countryside of Korea. There she wishes to start new, especially when she discovers the field. She is the one who made the master's plan to sell the drugs and use the money to emigrate. So she could finally be free from her abusive mother.
Though her mother gets arrested, DaJung becomes the target of all those whom her mother owed money. Her house was thrashed and she was threatened with returning and getting them their money or getting them the drugs. So she comes back after a video of her unnie, Choi SungKyung (Kim YeEun), surfaces. Choi SungKyung used to work as a mule alongside her and was the only one who cared for her. She is also the one who took all the weeds, as shown in season 1.
We wonder if DaJung will finally be able to escape the miserable life in "Hope Or Dope 2"?
2. "Hope Or Dope 2" Gets Darker As Another Homicide Case Surfaces
Another homicide case springs up in "Hope Or Dope 2". In episode 2, viewers were left with a cliffhanger. When YoonJae(Yoon Hyunsoo) goes missing, YoonTak (Yoon ChanYoung) fears that something bad has happened to him. By the end of the episode, it is seen that DaJung finds someone hanged when she visits the garden.

Though, to our relief, YoonJae was safe. DaJung reports it immediately. It was found to be Kim HyungSoo, the teacher at Gooam High school who owned the field and also the one whose video of beating up Choi SungKyung was taken and spread across the school.
But things take a drastic turn when YoonJae gets accused of murdering him and so the mystery begins. Who killed Kim HyungSoo?
3. "Hope Or Dope 2" Brings DaJung And YoonTak's Reunion!
The viewers adored the couple in "Hope Or Dope"! The two characters meet by fate and finally find someone to lean on. Even without any skinship, the characters made the viewers feel butterflies!

Gong YoonTak is a countryside boy who has lost his mother to an accident. Since then, he has been helping his family stick together, though his rebellious younger brother YoonJae makes his task even harder. YoonTak was assigned to work at the field by his homeroom teacher and did not know about the reality of the field.
He meets DaJung for the first time at the café he worked at and finds the money she accidentally dropped. Since then, the two have been tangled up in a mess when his brother YoonJae steals DaJung's money. In return, YoonTak agrees to let her live in their house. Even though DaJung restricts herself in the room given to her, YoonTak urges her to come out and eat with them. Their relationship deepens as time passes by. YoonTak even protects her when her mother finds DaJung, even if she did not know the story. In "Hope Or Dope 2", the two reunite again and join hands to investigate the murder case together. We have our fingers crossed!
"Hope Or Dope 2" gets even more intense and we are on the edge of are seats, waiting to know what will happen next? Are you watching the drama?
