So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello!! My name is Mires and I'm from Poland!

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I think it was when Director Choi Sam posted the first announcement of Keystone Boyz. We didn't know any members then, but it caught my attention, and when I found out that one of the members is YoungBin, I decided to stan them (I was a huge fan of "I-LAND"🙈).

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

Besides great music that fits my taste perfectly, they just quickly became my comfort group. Their tweets, fancafe letters, reality show, interviews... it all made me feel very comfortable. When I hear their music or see them, my mood automatically gets better. So I don't think there is any specific reason here, they just made me fall for them 😅.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

As I mentioned, I was a huge fan of "I-LAND" so it's no wonder the answer is YoungBin! But right after YoungBin, it was SoDam that caught my attention the most. I really love his voice!

Who is your bias, and why?

My biases are actually all of them, but i want to mention U here!! When I was watching their reality show, HengYu (U) caught my attention a lot. I was looking at him and my mind was "Wow... he's just like me". After that I started to pay more and more attention to him, he gives me a lot of positive energy. At this point, I can say that he's my most beloved idol 🤭.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

For title track, I want to recommend 'Fuego (Burn It Up)' and 'Touch' for B-side! Both songs are very catchy and and makes me want to dance~.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

U's fancam from stage with 'Touch' in Simply K-Pop! Watching him dance makes me start to dance too 🙆.

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

Absolutely their cover for THE BOYZ's 'MAVERICK'. I have many good memories with that

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

Literally the whole lyrics for 'Constellation'. This song makes me cry. When I listened to this song for the first time, I thought "Oh god, they really loves us".

What is your biggest dream for your favorite group/bias aside from being happy and healthy?

I wish they would win rookie of the year award. They really deserve it.

What is your first comment on a live broadcast of your favorite idol?

If I remember correctly it was just "hello" 😅.

If you go to only one, would you go to a concert, fan meeting, or fan sign?

I love concerts really much, so I choose them! It would be a awesome experience to go to BLANK2Y concert. I really want to hear their music live.

What about your bias do you relate to the most?

We both like cats.

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

They bring me a lot of happiness and motivation! I feel proud to see them achieve something, and it also makes me want to make my dreams come true.
