Welcome to the twenty-fifth article of Kpopmap's weekly series: Kpopmap Mood Playlist! Last week, we brought to you a playlist exclusively curated by Kpopmap with boy group songs we think would be perfect for Coachella. This week, as promised, we have the girl group version!
K-Pop girl groups have already earned legendary status in the realm of Coachella, with BLACKPINK, 2NE1, and aespa having graced the festival stage. It will hopefully be only a matter of time before even more K-Pop artists take over the same.

ITZY - 'In The Morning'
K-Pop's 4th generation "it" girl group, bringing empowering music to the youth, "ITZY" is a force to be reckoned with. Not only would they tear up the Coachella stage with their fiery performance but the unique sound of 'In The Morning' would be a cultural reset for new listeners. We cannot wait to see ITZY at Coachella.
Red Velvet - 'Feel My Rhythm'
The concept queens of K-Pop recently came back with the bop that will define the year 2022 for its seamless fusion of baroque music (Bach's 'Air on the G String') and classic K-Pop/EDM. The world needs to witness the greatness that is Red Velvet, and Coachella would be an incredible platform for the same.
TWICE - 'I Can't Stop Me'
The synth-pop anthem of our dreams, TWICE's 'I Can't Stop Me' is the perfect song to make a crowd go wild, regardless of whether they're K-Pop fans or otherwise. From the flawless vocals to the dynamic choreography, you cannot help but lose yourself in the endless charms of TWICE.
f(x) - '4 Walls'
With 2NE1 reuniting on the Coachella stage, perhaps it isn't too much to hope for an f(x) reunion too. The unbelievably addictive groove of '4 Walls' transcends barriers of language and resonates with the soul. This song is the perfect fit for global music festivals like Coachella, especially since it brilliantly highlights the versatility of K-Pop.
MAMAMOO - 'Hip'
Bringing a taste of fearless femininity to the Coachella mix, MAMAMOO's 'Hip' is as playful and bold as it gets. This is the song that brings out your inner boss as you push away society's standards and make your own rules. This is power at its finest and we're obsessed.
(G)I-DLE - 'My Bag'
One of the best (G)I-DLE songs in the group's entire discography, 'My Bag' wonderfully shines the spotlight on each member's unique strengths. The listening experience is truly one of a kind, with a diverse range of vocal colours enchanting you as you find yourself swaying to (G)I-DLE's beat. This song lives in our heads rent-free, and we cannot help but want to manifest (G)I-DLE at Coachella 2023.
EVERGLOW - 'First'
Driven by the grandeur of progressive rock elements, EVERGLOW goes harder than ever with 'First'. This is the kind of song that gets you headbanging before you even realize it and as such, it isn't hard to imagine EVERGLOW commanding the Coachella stage while thousands of people bow to their musical authority. Nothing compares to the thrill 'First' brings.
DREAMCATCHER - 'Maison'
Finally, there couldn't possibly be a better way to close out a K-Coachella playlist than a song that sends a message. DREAMCATCHER's 'Maison' is a call for us to save the world but no one said we couldn't also jam out to a rock anthem in the process. This is what masterpieces sound like and we're living for it!
