The start of the week can be one of the toughest hurdles we face. With the weekend fading away and a possible case of the Monday blues waiting for us, not even a full night's rest can prepare us for the work that lies ahead. However, through K-Variety Round Up, we hope to provide the perfect serotonin boost to tackle all the obstacles that this week has in store.

We focus on various scenes from Korean variety shows that you may have missed over the past week/weekend. These clips might appear across social media feeds, but it can be difficult to watch absolutely everything, while tending to our busy schedules.

That’s why Kpopmap is here to bring you the most entertaining and joy-inducing clips to a screen near you! Now, take a look down below for a little serotonin on the first day of the week.

        1. Afternoon Drink With TWICE's JiHyo

If you're old enough, there's just something about an afternoon drink that refreshes the senses and relaxes your mood in an instant. However, this might be ill-advised if you're in the middle of a college lecture or in the office. Luckily, you can live vicariously through TWICE's JiHyo. After a few glasses of soju in the afternoon, you can absolutely see waves of comfort and peace wash over her from head to toe. The feeling is infectious which you can take with you straight to the workplace.

        2. Kwon EunBi's Surprise Athleticism

Due to her WATERBOMB 2023 stage, Kwon EunBi has become the talk of the K-Pop community. Although she's become known for her amazing performances, one thing the idol is not known for is her athleticism. However, all of that changes with one appearance on JTBC's "Knowing Bros".

Among soloist Jeon SoMi and STAYC's ISA and SuMin, Kwon EunBi is an idol who exercises the least. However, when it comes to challenges, she doesn't back down, confidently showing off her skills in planking and thigh wrestling. She portrays all the traits of a successful manhwa character, exceeding her limits and winning every challenge. Her natural strength and endurance will catch you by surprise and have you exclaiming in amazement by the very end.

        3. "Idol Caregiver, BoMi" With WINNER's Jinu

Apink's Yoon BoMi has established herself as a successful YouTuber with the rise of her channel, "Bbom Bbom Bbom". She recently premiered a new series titled "Idol Caregiver, BoMi", and this week, the featured idol was none other than WINNER's JINU.

Through the show, we see BoMi cater to the idol in numerous ways. From making a delicious pizza to reading fan-written comments, she makes the atmosphere perfect for her guest and viewers to receive some sort of healing. This, along with the two idols' variety sense, make this week's "Idol Caregiver, BoMi" an absolute joy to watch.

        4. TREASURE On "SELF-ON KODE"

Recently, TREASURE's Choi HyunSuk and Yoshi appeared on YouTube program, "SELF-ON KODE". Through the video, while talking about various topics, we see HyunSuk try his best to hide his identity until the very end.

However, after sharing a screenshot of their phone home screens, Yoshi quickly deduces his hyung's identity. From pure entertainment to heartwarming moments, the TREASURE members make this episode of "SELF-ON KODE" a complete joy to watch.

        5. ZEROBASEONE's Life Cut

ZEROBASEONE members Sung HanBin, Zhang Hao, and Ricky once again make an appearance on KBS' "Idol Cloud". However, this time, they focus on past photos and various childhood memories.

Their trip down memory lane provides a sense of nostalgia and an air of sentimentality that covers you from head to toe. Seeing the members' childhood photographs will also warm your heart and may make you tempted to find your own. ZEROBASEONE's life cut on "Idol Cloud" is a serotonin boost and a half that you can carry with you until the end of the work week.
