        Although the weekend can be fun and exciting, it takes no time at all for it to end. In the blink of an eye, we're back to yet another work week, faced with the dreaded Monday blues that not even the strongest espresso can fix. Mondays can be a difficult obstacle to overcome, however, through K-Variety Round Up, we hope to provide the perfect serotonin boost for the tough week ahead.

        Through this series, we focus on various scenes from Korean variety shows that you may have missed over the past week/weekend. These clips might appear across social media feeds, but it can be difficult to watch absolutely everything, while tending to our busy schedules.

        1. Epik High's Tablo And Kim JaeJoong Talk About K-Pop


        On JaeJoong's newest YouTube series, "JaeJoong And Friends", the singer sits down for a chat with charismatic rapper, Tablo. Over food and drinks, they get to know each other on a deeper level. They eventually tall about the subject of K-Pop and the culture behind it.

        Tablo starts to talk about the struggle of needing to buy various versions of an album for the chance to get a one of a kind photocard of your bias. He points to JaeJoong and the prominence of TVXQ as the start of it all. JaeJoong can do nothing but laugh in silence at the truth of his hyung's words, allowing all the facts to sink in. You cannot help but smile to Tablo's relatable and honest words on the current culture of K-Pop.

         

        2. Human Emoticon Billlie's Tsuki


        Ever since her viral fancam, Billlie's Tsuki has risen up in popularity, earning the support and love from netizens all across the globe. Through her appearance on tvN's "Amazing Saturday", she once again unleashes her charm and ability to cycle through numerous facial expressions in mere seconds.

        Even while dancing in her seat, Tsuki becomes a human emoticon, amazing thousands in just a short segment. Even if you watch this clip just once, your Monday will become infinitely times better and afterwards, you will feel prepared for any obstacle this week has in store.

         

        3. BTS JungKook's Never-Ending Fun

        JungKook was the latest BTS member to appear on BTS Suga's YouTube talk show, "SUCHWITA". Throughout the entire episode, the two memberss chemistry was through the roof, as they created an overwhelming number of clips and gifs for ARMY everywhere to enjoy. It seemed JungKook had so much fun, that he didn't want to leave.

        Although Suga had changed clothes and was ready to head home, the golden maknae remained on set. It got to the point where JungKook produced so much content that the staff created a separate video of his karaoke antics. JungKook's energy is absolutely unmatched and the perfect serotonin boost to kick off the week.

         

        4. OH MY GIRL's Variety Sense

        OH MY GIRL's vibrant stage presence translates directly to their appearances on variety programs. Seeing the idol group on JTBC's "Knowing Bros" is equivalent to the warmth of the sun. From acting as zombies to individual member talents, the idol group proves that no matter what they do, they are able to put a smile on your face. Their naturally bright personalities are infectious and have the power to remain in your mind all week long.

         

        5. ZEROBASEONE's Kim TaeRae's Incredible Vocals

        This past weekend, we see Kim TaeRae make an appearance on MBC's "King Of Masked Singer". Although he starts off wearing a mask, the idol is unable to hide his spectacular, swoon-worthy vocals. TaeRae's refreshing tone and alluring voice will overshadow any discomfort you might feel at the start of the work week.
