A new work week is upon us, which means there's a high chance that we might be affected by the dreaded Monday blues. This is a phenomenon that makes the start of the week that much more difficult that not even four shots of espresso or a full night's rest can fix. However, through K-Variety Round Up, we hope to provide the perfect remedy to help alleviate the Monday blues!

Through this series, we focus on tidbits and highlights from various Korean variety shows that you might have missed over the past week/weekend. These clips might appear across social media feeds, but considering the sheer amount of scrolling we do, it can be difficult to watch everything, on top of tending to our busy schedules.

But that’s why Kpopmap is here to bring you the funniest and most heartwarming clips to the tips of your fingertips! Now, take a look down below for a little dose of serotonin to kickstart your week!

        1. ZEROBASEONE Sung HanBin's Incredible Tutting

What better way to start up the week than to watch an idol's mesmerizing performance. ZEROBASEONE recently made their much anticipated debut and are making multiple appearances across numerous variety programs.

While they appear as a whole group on tvN's "Amazing Saturday", their charismatic leader, Sung HanBin shows what he's made of. He showcases an impressive display of tutting and dancing prowess, wowing everyone to no end. His burning passion for dance will serve as the perfect boost of motivation to conquer the work week.

        2. MiJoo And Joo WooJae's Bickering

Variety programs are filled with numerous side-splitting interactions that stay in your mind for days. On MBC's "Hangout With Yoo", we see MiJoo and Joo WooJae riding in the same car. Over the numerous episodes, they've developed a closeness that makes them appear like real-life family members. And like true family, we see them bicker back and forth about a number of topics. Their sibling-like relationship becomes a complete serotonin boost. Watching them playfully argue will make the corners of your mouth curl up into a smile in an instant.

        3. NCT's JaeMin And RenJun Share Their Love For NCTzen

Through "Domestic Gift Factory", NCT's JaeMin and RenJun affectionately talk about their beloved fans that continuously support them. They publicly proclaim the connection they have with NCTzen and their special relationship.

You can just see the admiration that they have for their beloved fans from their gaze alone. With such loving idols like JaeMin and RenJun, it makes sense why so many people support them. Their simple, yet sweet words could be the perfect medicine for a particularly difficult start of the week.

        4. BTOB ChangSub's Smile-Inducing PPL

PPL exists everywhere from television programs to even YouTube-specific shows. While there are some that are blatantly obvious and take away from the overall viewing experience, BTOB's ChangSub is able to make it fun and entertaining for everyone.

Before heading out into the fields to learn more about farming, YouTube series "Changing Majors" presents a smile-inducing PPL segment done by the idol himself. He's incredibly enthusiastic and funny, completing the PPL in true ChangSub fashion. By the end, you'll even be convinced to search up the brand and purchase one of their products yourself.

        5. NMIXX's Lily And HaeWon's Entertaining Whisper Challenge

The whisper challenge is an iconic game where players need to guess what another person is saying, all while listening to music through soundproof headphones. On MBC's "Weekly Idol", the NMIXX members try their best at the game, but not without chaos ensuing in between.

Lily and HaeWon are particularly funny as they start off shaky with continuous wrong guesses. However, it doesn't take too long for the two to arrive on the same page. They quickly proceed to give out the right answers and collect a number of points in the process. Watching the entire round will provide a serotonin boost and a half, improving anyone's start to the work week.

We hope with this edition of K-Variety Round Up, your Monday is filled with happiness and strength. Fighting!
