Their popularity rose exceptionally on an international scale, allowing for an even larger demographic to fall for the many charms K-Dramas have to offer. One series that has recently joined Netflix's ever-growing catalogue of shows is JTBC's "King The Land". The drama sees 2PM's JunHo and Girls' Generation's YoonA charge forward as its endearing main leads.

“King The Land” depicts the story of male protagonist Goo Won (JunHo), heir to a conglomerate who can't stand the pretense of a smile. Beside him is the female protagonist Cheon SaRang (YoonA), who always wears a bright smile, even when she doesn't want to. She hopes that one day she can truly smile.

"King The Land" has captured the hearts of millions, firmly seating itself at the top of the most popular TV shows on Netflix worldwide. Reaching over the halfway point, many have become smitten by various aspects of the amazing show. Although there's still a surplus more drama left, there have been many feel good moments that fans absolutely love.

Here are a few heart-fluttering scenes from the rom-com that we cannot stop thinking about!

        Note: spoilers ahead!

        1. Sweet Bike Ride Around Jeju Island

Heading to Jeju Island for an interview, Goo Won and Cheon SaRang show signs of incompatibility, starting off on the wrong foot from the very beginning. Although they have two conflicting personalities, just one night on the island and a meaningful conversation helps to alleviate some previous tension between the two.

By morning, Goo Won and Cheon SaRang have warmed up to one another and they embark on a lovely bike ride together. With scenes of a bright shining sun and clear blue waters in the background, the moment produces a swarm of butterflies in your stomach.

        2. Embrace Under The Rain

Both Goo Won and Cheon SaRang go through a series of terrible events. This includes a breakup, harassment from family and coworkers, and office politics. In order to lift their spirits, the two head over to their secret healing place with a beautiful night view of the city's skyline. As if led by fate, they run into each other at their most vulnerable state.

Although SaRang tries to leave, she literally falls into Goo Won's arms and the two share an embrace under the falling rain. It might feel cliché, but you cannot help but shout in glee as the two main leads relationship progresses right in front of our eyes.

        3. Kiss Underneath The Sprinklers

By this point, our two main characters have begun to embrace their romantic feelings towards one another, with Goo Won taking the initiative and asking SaRang out for a date. He prepares a marvelous, handmade dinner. Everything appears to be going perfectly from atmosphere to food choice.

However, due to some showmanship, a huge flame causes the sprinklers to go off and pour down on the two. Although shocked at first, the scene escalates and the two share a heart-pounding kiss that makes everyone watching speechless.

        4. Lee RoWoon Takes The Lead With Oh PyungHwa

"King The Land" is magnificent in that it's not only the main leads who have a chance at romance. While their relationship has been progressing ever forward since the start of the drama, we see Lee RoWoon (Kim JaeWon) and Oh PyeongHwa (Go WonHee) take a huge step after a team dinner.

A series of unfortunate events occur, causing PyeongHwa to step outside for some fresh air. RoWoon follows her, shares words of comfort, and takes the initiative to walk away while holding her hand. Although they've shown moments like this, this is a huge leap for their budding romance. You can practically hear the shouts of joy, asking for RoWoon and PyeongHwa's romance to finally take root.

        5. Romantic Montage Through The Park

"King The Land" provides the perfect serotonin boost as we witness the lively cast of characters take a trip to Thailand together. In between the sightseeing and delicious meals, they end up at a scenic park by a local ferry. Just as they were taking a photograph, jets of water shoot upwards behind them. What follows next is a heart-fluttering montage that hits all the right spots. Then, by the end, Goo Won and Cheon SaRang share an electrifying kiss that brings every romantic cell in your body to life.
