Best 6 Songs Covered By ONEWE

        ONEWE's Twitter

The best indirect interaction fans can get in K-Pop is covers. When one group sings or dances another's group song, it is like two worlds colliding! Some groups reproduce the song as the original one without any modifications, and some others play with the instrumental tracks or other variations to give their own color to the song they cover. On music shows, there are even some special stages dedicated to cover songs. The YouTube channel It's Live also allows many groups to do various covers, live of course.

One group that has gained popularity for their cover, and especially girl group covers, is no other than ONEWE. The boy band under RBW has been praised many times for their great rock arrangement of songs, and their great talent for giving songs almost a new version of their own. And as ONEWE is a band, not only do they give new colors to songs with their voices, but they also add to the song. their cover because of the use of instruments such as the drum and the bass. Having those instruments live instead of computer-generated ones gives a whole new dimension to songs. So let's take a look at some of the best covers ONEWE had made!

        1. 'Hip' (Original by MAMAMOO)

Of course, in good juniors, ONEWE covered their dear Sunbaenim's song! If you already thought the MAMAMOO version was powerful, wait until you hear ONEWE's version, with all the instruments and their powerful voice, they took this song on their little planet!

        2. 'Egotistic' (Original by MAMAMOO)

Not only one, but two, and more, ONEWE covered many songs from their sunbaenim, but to not make the whole list about MAMAMOO covers, we had to keep it to those two, because they sure could not be left out! ONEWE really took seriously to the exotic vibes of the song and takes you on a journey with their pretty vocals!

        3. 'Dolphin' (Original by OH MY GIRL)

After this song went viral thanks to its special stage on "Inkigayo" with the MCs, many people started to do covers, and ONEWE should be in the top 3 covers of this song, that's for sure! This song that used to give cute vibes suddenly turned into a very cool rock song you can't get enough of!

        4. 'Happen' (Original by Heize)

If you ever heard this song before, get ready to fall for it a second time as if it was a whole new song. YongHoon's soft and low vocals are a perfect fit for this ballad song. Heize is often considered one of the best female solo singers with numerous OSTs in her discography, and YongHoon did not take this challenge lightly, and as expected, he passed it with a 1à out of 10! And let's not forget about GiWook who plays a big part in this cover by creating the whole instrumental track on the go, and adding a super cool rap part to the song.

        5. 'Twenty-Five, Twenty-One' (Original by JAURIM)

We were just talking about OST, have you heard this version of the drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" OST? Many fans have mentioned before how YongHoon had the perfect voice for singing OSTs, and he proved it once again by singing an existing OST, and of course, giving it his own color on the same occasion.

        6. 'Hype Boy' (Original by NewJeans)

NewJeans just made their debut into the K-Pop world, yet they're already being covered by their sunbaenims! And GiWook did a really great job at turning this Pop girl group song into his own rock version. By changing a bit the instrumental and doing the rap parts with his own style, he surely turned this song into something different letting us enjoy a whole new experience.

        BONUS. Cover Highlight Medley:

'Tomboy' (Original by (G)I-DLE), 'Eleven' (Original by IVE), 'Next Level' (Original by aespa), 'Lovesick Girls' (Original by BLACKPINK)

Last but not least, here is a special bonus of many covers compiled into one song, a track signed ONEWE once again. Who could make all those songs that have such different styles into one continuous melody? Well, ONEWE did, and they made it seems so easy, it shows how much they were meant to be artists after all.

If you enjoyed the covers introduced in this video, we encourage you to go listen to all of their covers, you can find them on their Official YouTube channel, or on It's Live YouTube channel and other music show channels.
