There was a WAV(e) of excitement this weekend in Kansas City when tripleS: LOVElution came to town. XinYu, SoHyun, DaHyun, Nien, SeoYeon, YuBin, Kaede, and HyeRin lit up the stage during the Kansas City stop of their "[Authentic] LOVElution" tour. Although tripleS debuted less than a year ago, they have a growing fan base not only here in the Midwest, but worldwide.

Hundreds of fans gathered at Uptown Theater to see this LOVElution sub-unit that debuted in August up close and personal. Anticipation filled the air as the crowd waited for the show to start. When the group emerged on the stage, everyone went wild.

The show opened with energetic performances of 'Atmosphere', 'Complexity', and 'Dimension'. What I really loved about the show was that it felt like a time of hanging out with friends. It didn’t seem like I was at a show to sit and be merely entertained, but that I was part of the show, as well. The way the group interacted with the crowd really drew everyone in.

Another fun part of the show included each member doing a solo cover of other popular songs. Some of the songs performed were 'Bubble' by STAYC, 'New Dance' by XG, and 'GENIE' by Girls' Generation, among others.
Other songs performed were 'Rolex', 'Touch+', 'Cry Baby', and 'More Than Yesterday'. My personal favorite performances were 'Seoul Sonyo Sound' and 'Beam'. Those two songs are now being added to my playlist!

This was an incredible show and I was so happy I got a chance to witness it. I can’t wait to see what TripleS does next!
