Fans of ASTRO's Cha EunWoo have been wowed by the acting-dol's scenes in "Island"! His acting portfolio has been stellar and packed with impactful roles, but fans had yet to see him in a more intense and thrilling K-Drama, playing a more intense, thrilling character.

The first season of "Island" may have come to an end, but there are some scenes of Cha EunWoo that still live rent free in a lot of fans’ heads. That’s why in this article, here are 4 scenes of ASTRO's Cha EunWoo’s character, Johan/Giovanni, that we are still obsessed with. Might as well keep ourselves busy reminiscing about these moments before the next season airs, no?

1. Exorcism Of The Possessed Italian Girl

This definitely must’ve come as a shocking scene to a lot of people. Giovanni was in the middle of exorcising a rather talkative lust demon from a young Italian girl’s body. Despite the severity of his mission, he took the process rather lightheartedly, like he was dealing with a pest rather than a very hard-to-kill lust demon. This was a very exciting scene to see, and till now, we still think about this part a lot, mostly because of how refreshing it was to see Cha EunWoo play a very uniquely loveable role once again.

2. Drunk Johan

Something that’s unarguably cute to see is Cha EunWoo acting drunk. Even though he had just met Won MiHo (played by Lee DaHee) and was excited to protect her as the all-powerful seer that she secretly was, Johan got a little carried away drinking wine with her. The way he gurgled the drink and swallowed with a cute smile and a wink may have sent us into a little bit of a fangirl/boy frenzy, but we’re sure you reacted just the same way, too.

3. Fight Scene With Van

Everything seemed to have been going smooth until Van (played by Kim NamGil) started to more frequently lose control of his humanity. Switching back and forth from human to lust demon made him unreliable, and Johan wasn’t allowing Van’s indecision to negatively affect MiHo. Their battle, Van with his mini-sword and Johan with his holy sword, was indeed thrilling. It’s not everyday we get to see a fight scene with Cha EunWoo, so this one definitely struck a chord with a lot of fans.

4. Emotional Reunion With His Brother

This touching backstory was a subplot that unarguably gave more life to the series. Johan finding his older brother ChanHee (played by Choi TaeJoon) with Won MiHo’s help was wholesome, really, and from the touching moment they reconnected to the playful interaction afterwards, watchers of the series— us included, of course— were very emotional about the scenes. Who knows, maybe you might have randomly remembered it and shed a tear or two? We can certainly relate.
