Let's get to know our boy crush, Yoon SanHa!

If you're new to Yoon SanHa, here is some basic information about him. Yoon SanHa (hereafter referred to as SanHa) was born on March 21, 2000, and has had music in his fate since he was young. He was born into a musical family; his father had aspired to be a singer but was unable to make his dream come true. Hearing his father's dream, SanHa wanted to make his father's dream come true on his behalf.
This led him to audition to join Fantagio and become a trainee. SanHa was quite young when he became a trainee. In fact, some of his core memories in middle school include how he always stood out because his hair was dyed blond among a sea of kids with black hair. He even graduated with his blond hair and his manager standing in the crowd.
After a trainee period of about 3 years and a couple of months, he made his debut as part of ASTRO in 2016 at the tender age of 15. SanHa recalls how his passion and ambition grew after standing on stage as an ASTRO member. Let's take a look at how he has come to achieve those ambitions over the years.
How can we describe his vocal color?
Well, if we had to use one word... Unforgettable.
If we had to use a sentence, "The voice that keeps on giving."
And if we had to describe its essence, we'd probably speak about the way he naturally uses vibrato to accent his stable vocals. Not to mention that every time he sings, he cements his status as a power vocal.

You thought his talent ended there? Unfortunately, you are deeply mistaken. We could go on for days about all the things that he can do, but we'll try to contain ourselves.
On top of his vocal talent, SanHa can also play the guitar. His skills are heavily influenced by his father and he has been playing the guitar since elementary school. He is famous for his soft guitar playing and accompanying covers.

SanHa's voice shows a different charm when he is acting or MCing. He shows a different side of himself when he is on stage as a musical actor or MC, or on screen in a drama. Just as he shows a reliable appearance as an idol, his actor/MC persona gives you an extra sense of dependability.
SanHa has improved exponentially since his debut. If you ask any AROHA, they will tell you how much he has gained control over his dance style - especially considering his long limbs (which also add to his stunning elongated dance lines). Not only that but the passion that he exudes when dancing on stage is enough to put a smile on the face of anyone who watches. He pulls off any vibe/concept when it comes to dancing performances. Whether he is doing a vibrant concept with soft dance lines or bringing the heat with powerful dance moves and a lethal stage aura, he can do it all.

Speaking of heat, SanHa made his sub-unit debut as part of MoonBin & SanHa in 2020. The duet has shown us a new perspective on SanHa's already potent duality. With each of their comebacks, SanHa has unlocked unexpected charm and a sexy side that makes us wonder who unlocked the next level of his talent. We want the cheat code to see more of this side of SanHa as much as possible!
His adorable persona deserves a paragraph of its own. He has his mischievous 'maknae on top' moments, too. With his high energy and love for pulling shenanigans, he earns himself the nickname 'Beagle King' with every antic.
Some facts that make him even cuter include the following:
Despite his tall stature, he is afraid of bugs and insects.
He sometimes crinkles his nose when he sings or smiles.
He is visually and literally speaking the 'maknae on top', too. This is thanks to his tall height which makes him the tallest in the group.
He has a cute way of speaking sometimes thanks to the time when he wore braces and they affected his pronunciation. It's called 'Ddana language'.
He is also the king of the adorable pout.
Although he is known for his playful side, he also has a thoughtful side. As a deep thinker, he often exhibits a maturity that's beyond his age.
When he makes up his mind about something, his determination is unmatched. No one can get in his way of achieving what he wants.
As you might've picked up from the top of the article, SanHa is extremely family-oriented, too.
We can't forget to mention his visuals. In fact, we can't forget his visuals at all. SanHa has the sweetest impression with gentle eyes that feel like they are looking into your soul.

However, his rugged charm comes out to shine every so often and remind AROHA that as long as he's around, their hearts are not safe. This especially happens when his toned muscles are on display and accented in his styled outfits. He has been putting a lot of effort into his workouts at the gym and we are living for it.
For example, fans particularly marveled at how buff he has become at his Waterbomb Festival last year.

As we mentioned earlier, SanHa is a well-rounded idol with endless capabilities.
To quote an AROHA,
"I think SanHa is the dark horse of ASTRO. He's really so well-rounded."
This fan speaks to the fact that, despite his talent, SanHa might not get all of the attention that he so definitely deserves. He truly is a hidden gem. In fact, he is the kind of hidden gem that people end up kicking themselves for not having discovered sooner. Hopefully, more and more people will get to discover his charms soon.
