The new year is upon us, and 2024 is the Year of the Dragon after 12 years, or more specifically, the Year of the Blue Dragon, starting from February 10, 2024. According to Chinese astrology, people born in the Year of the Dragon are believed to share certain characteristics associated with the dragon, such as being charismatic, ambitious, and confident. It is no surprise, therefore, that some of the most successful K-Pop idols today were born in the Year of the Dragon.

Anyone born in 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024 belongs to the Dragon zodiac sign. Kim JongKook was born in 1976, and his zodiac sign is Dragon. BIGBANG's G-Dragon and TaeYang were born in the Year of the Dragon in 1988, so they also belong to the Dragon zodiac sign. The same goes for TVXQ!'s ChangMin, ZE:A's Yim SiWan, Kevin and KwangHee, and 2PM's Nichkhun and Ok TaecYeon. Those born before 17 February 1988 do not belong to the Dragon zodiac sign and hence, are not included.

These K-Pop idols have soared to success like dragons in flight and continue to impress us with their extraordinary talents and excellence. It is said that 2024 will be a great year for these K-Pop idols as more and more amazing opportunities come their way.

K-Pop idols born in the Year of the Dragon but younger than the above-mentioned idols are not known as they would have to be born in 2012, which would make them 11 to 12 years old this year.

Most K-Pop idols have more than only one talent. Of course, they're the best in their specialty like singing, dancing, or rapping. But if they excel in one domain, they also can be pretty good in another. It's like they have a set of talents, and they just have to choose from it depending on the occasion. Rapper Seoho, as called by the fans, was discovered during ONEUS' appearance on the survival show "ROAD TO KINGDOM". Close to the end of the show, ONEUS decided to go all in for their 'LIT' performance, bringing on stage an entire festival, as commented by another participant. During that performance, ONEUS also modified the song from its original version, adding not only a break dance, new concept, and theme, but also a new rap part performed by SeoHo. Apart from that performance, we rarely get to hear SeoHo's rap, and all TO MOONs are waiting for his comeback.

2. ENHYPEN's Jay

Jay have always been introduced as a vocalist member of ENHYPEN, but his rapper skills are undeniable. While we didn't get to see much of rapper Jay so far in ENHYPEN's discography, he did made a few appearances like for example in 'Future Perfect (Pass The Mic)' were he really slayed his rap part. It is truly sad that Jay doesn't get more rap parts because with his impressive aura, he would be a perfect main rapper alongside Ni-Ki.

3. Stray Kids' SeungMin

SeungMin is known as one of the vocalist with one of the clearest voice in the industry, but have you heard his rap yet? SeungMin have shown his rap skills more than once already, one memorable time was when he performed Han's entire rap in 'God's Menu'. This rap is known for being quite hard for both its fast speed and complicated diction, yet SeungMin nailed it without a flaw. SeungMin is both a perfect vocal and perfect rapper.

4. TXT's YeonJun

TXT's members don't have any set position in the group when it comes to vocal, rap, and dance. So actually any TXT member could also be listed here, but how can we not mention the iconic 4th gen boy? Since YeonJun isn't assigned to any position, you can literally consider him the main vocal or main rapper, and even the main dancer of the group. And it is true that YeonJun is skilled in all of these domains. Singing, dancing, rapping and even acting, if you just give one task to YeonJun, he'll surely find a way to do it, and do it well.

5. SEVENTEEN's JeongHan

SEVENTEEN's Prince JeongHan is not only an amazing vocalist, he also proved that he could slay in rap as well. He even created a rapper nickname for himself, with that, we could add his second personality as one of SEVENTEEN's rappers. And not only his technical skills but even his attitude and aura seem to switch when he raps. JeongHan knows perfectly how to create a persona for his various skills, and we love that.

6. RED VELVET's Wendy

You probably know Wendy as one of the group's wonderful vocalists, but did you know that she can also rap like a queen? Indeed on many occasions, Wendy showed a powerful and intense performance as a rapper, leaving all fans shocked y her undeniable talent. Even if we didn't get to see much of her abilities as the group did not get many activities, we'll all be waiting for RED VELVET's next event to hear Wendy's vocal, and maybe rap.

7. ATEEZ's JongHo

Last but not least, ATEEZ's main vocalist could also be a main or sub-rapper. JongHo is known amongst K-Pop fans for his insanely strong vocals, yet nobody seems to be talking about his rap skills which are just as good. During one of the group's early appearances on Weekly Idol, JongHo did a small rap performance leaving the fans, and the group, shocked. He could rap those verses so fast and so well, that we almost confound him for an actual rapper, how cool is that?
