Welcome to the forty-seventh article of Kpopmap's weekly series "Girl Crush"!
This series will get to know some of the female idols or actresses who are girl crush material.
A 'girl crush' is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one's admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc.

Let's get to know our girl crush, DaYeon!

DaYeon is famous as a member of the dynamite rookie girl group Kep1er formed on the survival show "GIRLS PLANET 999". They are known for their powerful performances and for being a group that sounds exactly like their CD when performing live. DaYeon is known in the group as an iconic member who always gives her all and leaves it all on stage. You might also recognize her from her time on "Produce 48".
Let's get to know why this star is girl crush material.
Firstly, as the main dancer of Kep1er, she is recognized as one of the top female idol dancers in the 4th generation of K-Pop. With the nickname 'Dancing Queen', she has a strong sense of rhythm, flexibility, and strength that come together into a powerful trifecta.
Her choreography skills are also admirable. She choreographed the 'Ice Cream' stage on "GIRLS PLANET 999" and the stage was dubbed 'legendary' by many. Check it out here.

She gained a lot of recognition for her rap and vocal skills on "GIRLS PLANET 999", too. She has a stable vocal tone and captivating rap color that are like underappreciated gems.

DaYeon is also known for her top-level professionalism on stage. She has been able to effortlessly handle stage mishaps without making them obvious since her "Produce 48" days. Recently, she had another incident on the show "Queendom 2" but gained praise for not making it obvious and continuing with her performance as if nothing happened. Many were unaware until it was replayed. This highlights her resilience and strong work ethic. DaYeon is an all-rounder in every sense of the word.

To sum up DaYeon's performance skills, we'll quote one of her fans, "DaYeon does not have the killing part. She is the killing part."
DaYeon has a multi-faceted personality. She can be serious when it comes to serious matters but is a bundle of fun when it is time to be happy. She is known for her duality which ranges on a spectrum from adorable to fierce. 'Versatility' is her middle name in so many aspects.
She is also known for being genuine and authentically herself. She is compassionate and has amazing leadership skills.
Her visuals are as lovable as her personality, too. She has a gorgeous doll-like beauty.
