Welcome to the fifty-third article of Kpopmap's weekly series "Girl Crush"!
This series will get to know some of the female idols or actresses who are girl crush material.
A 'girl crush' is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one's admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols or Korean actresses that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc.

Rei is famous as a member of the monster rookie girl group IVE. The group is known for their considerable impact in the industry despite still being relatively new to the scene. It is all thanks to their endless charms! Rei is known as an all-rounder in the group who has been stealing the hearts of many.
Let's get to know more about this standout idol today.
Rei's rap skills are so special that they honestly deserve more and more spotlight. Not only does she have exceptional flow, but she also has writing credits for some of her verses.
This video shows of her multi-lingual abilities (she raps in English, Japanese, and Korean) on top of her fierce rap skills.
Additionally, her vocals are just as outstanding. She especially boasts stable and majestic vocals that sound like the CD recording when she sings live.
There is a pretty undertone and vocal color that adds to her voice's distinct charm.

When it comes to performances, Rei's passion is unmatched and you can spot it in her attention to detail. Whether it is creating tiny accents to the choreography or just pouring her heart out when dancing, Rei looks like she was born to be on stage.

Her talents don't stop there though. Rei has been booked and busy securing modeling gigs and showing off her talent for variety/entertainment, as well. This goes to show that despite her short time active in the industry, she is already cementing herself as an all-rounder who will be one of the biggest faces in the field in the future.

Despite being a rookie idol, she is also a trendsetter who greatly influences the entire industry. For example, she recently influenced the entire industry of idols and K-Pop fans to start doing the Gyaru piece pose in their selfies. You can read all about how she started the trend here.
What's even more amazing about this is that she has also shown what a global citizen she is. Not only did she start a trend, but she shared a piece of Japanese culture with everyone, too.
Lastly, let's appreciate her stunning visuals. Honestly, she is so pretty that her visuals speak for themselves.
