K-Pop Idols Who Enjoy Seafood

Here are some of the K-Pop idols whose expressive love for a seafood meal will make you order a plate or two.

Seafood is a favorite dish for many South Koreans. Being surrounded by water and with markets filled with tanks of a variety of fish, it is one of the readily available meals you can eat in South Korea. High in protein and rich in taste, plates of seafood are much more than just a meal, they are a way of life. While some of our favorite K-Pop idols simply do not like this themed dish, others have expressively shown how much they enjoy it in various YouTube contents.

Funny, interesting, and entertaining, here are some of the K-Pop idols who enjoy a seafood menu.

1. MONSTA X

The members of MONSTA X (most especially ShowNu) seem to enjoy seafood a lot as they have often shared updates about eating various kinds of seafood meals on social media. And on variety series, we have seen them gleefully devour a seafood platter. In this video, while we are entertained by their adorable antics and witty moments, their eagerness to eat the crab is so endearing to watch. Tearing apart to get the crab meat, they look so happy and fulfilled while eating.

2. MAMAMOO's HwaSa

MAMAMOO's HwaSa has to be the nation's foodie, as her love for good food has garnered positive attention and admiration from the public. Her recipes are a fan favorite and her expressions while eating a good meal do not just make viewers salivate and wanting to take a bite out of her meals but also make them appreciate her taste in food.

3. TREASURE's Choi HyunSuk and JiHoon

In a recent episode of their YouTube variety series "The Idol Ramyeonators", TREASURE's Choi HyunSuk and JiHoon, set sail across the sea on a shipping boat on a quest to eat fresh seafood ramyeon. Filled with the funny banter between the idols, producers, and the sailors, their eagerness to eat this delicious meal was clear as they both took part in removing the crab from the net. Their hard work pays off as they were rewarded with a delicious bowl of ramen at the end. Slurping and chewing with so much zest, they cleared off their bowls, looking full and content after a long morning.

4. Simon Dominic

"Now we want sushi!". His expressive reactions while taking bites of different kinds of sushi might just have you making a quick trip to your favorite sushi restaurant after watching this video. Clearing every meal placed before him, he clearly had a fulfilling experience.

5. iKON's Song

iKON Song's YouTube channel is filled with a variety of contents that are always entertaining to watch, one of which is food shows. Songchef is known for his love for food and cooking, hence, this themed content, however hilarious and adorable, often shows viewers his taste in food and how he makes them. In this video, he is not the chef but the assistant as he is being taught how to make a new pasta dish with webfoot octopus. His keen attention and reactions throughout the process were endearing and completely devouring the dish, his facial expressions show how much he enjoyed this new menu.

6. WonHo

WonHo's Jeju trip captured a lot of moments, one of which was his many visits to restaurants. Jeju Island is known for its delicious seafood menus and during his trip, he made sure to enjoy a bowl of seafood ramen. He seemed to not be a fan of crabs and although he might have been worried about the extinction of Octopuses, he sure looked like he enjoyed eating one.

7. NCT's Jeno and JaeMin

For the KBS program "Battle Trip" NCT's JaeMin and Jeno took a trip to Busan where amidst their fun sightseeing activities, they made several stops at restaurants to enjoy a good meal. One of which is included a platter filled with an array of seafood menus. (Watch from 30:22) The joy on their faces while eating this meal makes us know how much they enjoyed it.
