        KB / SMTOWN

Welcome to aespa's world in the second season of "Walk To Kwangya 2023". Starring Lee SeungGyu (as JiHoon), Kim JiWoo (as SoYoung), and HyunJun (as YoonBin), the web drama is the second season of the 2022 version bearing the same name. It was created in collaboration with KB (Kookmin Bank - one of Korea's top banks) - for whom the aespa members are the promotional models.

"Walk To Kwangya 2023" is a romance fantasy web drama set in the 'SMCU aespa' universe that tells the story of each actor's avatar, 'ke', which appears in the video, and it is expected to show their contemplation of dreams and love during their university life together. The drama consists of 4 episodes, having aired for the first time on July 28. It airs every Friday, 6 PM KST on KB's official YouTube channel.

It features aespa, one of the hottest girl groups at the moment, as a way for KB to expand its communication with Gen Z and become the financial institution they can trust. Let's take a look at 3 reasons why you should watch aespa's new web drama "Walk To Kwangya 2023".

        1. aespa

        That's it. That's the reason.

aespa has been making the largest imprint on the hearts of many. This is because of a number of factors including their amazing music, overflowing talent, stunning visuals, and even their intriguing lore. What better way to get to know more about the group's impact and their lore, than to watch a web drama designed to emphasize both?

As the icons that many Gen Z look up to, not only will young viewers be able to understand more about the bank, but they can also unlock new theories involving the lore. The drama switches between Kwangya and the real world, making for an immersive and relatable viewing experience, too.

Not to mention that you can get a feel for aespa's abilities as actresses. They truly stand out in their roles and we hope to see them taking on more idol acting in the future!

        2. The rising actors in the cast

Lee SeungGyu grabbed the attention of fans whilst acting in the web drama "User Not Found" and the Korean BL "Our Dating Sim". Many have been swooning over the actor and his prince-like visuals.

Hur HyunJun (also known as just HyunJun) is best known for his role in the Korean BL, "Color Rush". Fans have been eagerly awaiting his return to the screen and are excited for him to get new acting opportunities.

Kim JiWoo is a rookie actress who has been gaining praise since her role in the web drama "Let Me Off the Earth", too. Fans are already loving her natural portrayal of her character.

Not to mention that the visual chemistry of these three actors is already out of this world.

        3. Valuable lessons to learn

The drama also explains a lot of the functionality and benefits of having an account with Kookmin Bank, inadvertently teaching some key lessons about personal finance that are vital to know from a young age. There is also an AI element to the drama (naturally - given Kwangya's role in the story) that makes for an interesting watch.

In addition to personal finance, there are a lot of lessons woven into the drama about life, friendships, relationships and more. Using interesting metaphors, it will feel like you are learning new things without having them forced on you.
