Now she's embarking on a new journey as a solo artist with her 1st mini album "Howl". If the pre-release music video for 'Underwater' was any indicator, it seems Chuu is showing a brand new side of herself that fans have never seen before. The entire album is filled with tenderness, hope, and a fiery passion to continue forward. Most notably the lyrics for title track, 'Howl', were filled with meaning. This caused many to dig deep and take a look inside their heart.

As human beings, we make great strides in order to hide our vulnerability and pain. While hiding is intentional, we may also feel the need to be noticed. Our true feelings being found out can be cathartic in such a way that brings about healing and peace. Life is often a struggle that could be likened to a long, drawn-out battle. Through these lyrics, Chuu presents a battlefield filled with nothing but wounds. But in spite of that, she also provides the idea that there will be someone out there who you can lean on and in turn, you will be able to save each other. This instills a type of hope that's much needed for the weary and tired, a hope that Chuu openly provides through 'Howl'.

Within the chorus we find these lyrics that instill the idea that we are not alone. Even if everyone else disappears and loses faith, there will be that one person who will readily go to your aid. While it might take a while to find this person, knowing that they are there will bring on an inexplainable warmth that signals everything will be okay.

'Howl' presents a different side of Chuu that many might not have expected. However, through its touching lyrics, it offers a message of resilience and hope, despite the rough path ahead.
