2022 is about to come to a close, but K-Drama fans can rejoice as this year is going out with a bang. An influx of amazing series have chosen December to be the start of their storied run. One drama that's making its year-end premiere is JTBC's "The Interest of Love". The office romance drama has a star-studded cast in Mun KaYoung and Yoo YeonSeok as the main couple, with Keum SaeRok and Jung GaRam alongside them as the beloved second leads.
The drama follows four people who all meet at KCU Bank's Youngpo branch and their realistic love stories. At the time of writing this article, "The Interest of Love" only has one episode out so far, but it is already turning heads! The JTBC drama already feels full of raw, heart-pounding emotions and a depth of tender sincerity that cannot be ignored.

Who can forget her portrayal of the loveable Lim JuGyeong in "True Beauty" or happy-go-lucky Yeo HaJin in "Find Me In Your Memory". However, through "The Interest of Love", KaYoung meets us as gorgeous, yet closed-off bank teller, Ahn SooYoung.
Despite her proficiency as a banker, she endures a harsh reality. KaYoung describes her character as strong and tough, yet there's a sense that she could vanish into thin air at any moment. With her character's mysterious aura, there's a possibility that tissues might be required once the drama dives into Ahn SooYoung's backstory. It will be interesting to follow her growth throughout the series and how Mun KaYoung will portray her various charms.
2. Outstanding Chemistry Between Leads

From still cuts to magazine pictorials, Yoo YeonSeok and Mun KaYoung have already provided fans with a taste of their incredible chemistry. Looking at pictures alone, you can feel an air of sweetness that only couples in love are able to produce.
But perhaps that might be due to their outstanding acting skills! There have already been scenes where sparks are clearly visible, causing every romantic cell in your body to roar to life. Now only time will tell as their characters aim to juggle work and personal struggles, with a bit of romance sprinkled in between.
3. Heartfelt Slice Of Life

The slice of life genre might be slow paced and have a more serious tone, but these dramas hold an allure that keep viewers glued from beginning to end. They possess the special charm of being relatable to those in the work force, as well as sharing a close resemblance to real life situations. "The Interest of Love" looks to be following this route and shows promise to offer some comfort, while providing the perfect balance of office romance. We're certainly looking forward to how "The Interest of Love" incorporates the cozy, heartwarming vibe that usually comes with slice of life K-Dramas.

We can't talk about Yoo YeonSeok and Mun KaYoung's chemistry without mentioning hints to their passionate, budding romance. Despite starting off a bit shaky, from the trailer it seems their relationship becomes sizzling hot as they become closer and more intimate with one another.

However, that isn't to say it will be smooth sailing for the two, as we have to consider the precious second leads, Keum SaeRok and Jung GaRam. From previews released prior to the drama's premiere, it seems that SaeRok and GaRam will have roles as potential love interests. These four will certainly have a lot of emotions to work through, individually and with each other, too. We're excited to see how the love lines will develop and if a happy ending is in store for everyone.
