Let's get to know our crush, Son DongPyo!

Son DongPyo is famous as a member of MIRAE. MIRAE is known for their top-tier talent charged with refreshing energy that translates into electric performances. Son DongPyo is known for his magnetic performance quality. He is also well known for his time on "Produce X 101" and as a member of the boy group X1.

Today, we'll take a closer look at his performance power and his limitless charm as a person and artist.

If you're new to Son DongPyo, here is some basic information about him. Son DongPyo was born on September 9, 2002. He is another of the idols who graduated from the famous Hanlim Arts School.

Son DongPyo auditioned at a coalition audition between a number of different companies. Out of all of those companies he was chosen to join DSP Media. He was a super rookie long before his debut. Within his first month as a trainee for DSP Media he had ranked in the first place for his first monthly evaluation.

He topped the list in terms of talent, favorability, potential for development, etc.

Son DongPyo later entered "Produce X 101" which aired in 2019. From the beginning of the show, he received attention from the trainers for his unique facial expressions and performance talent, making a bold impression.

They even requested that he show an additional performance which won over everybody in the audience over more.

Okay, now is the perfect time to bring back "what would you like to see" Dongpyo who wowed trainees and panelists when he danced to bboom bboom randomly after being asked what else he can show in PDX101.

This was the first taste to the public of uncovering the girl group cover prince that is Son DongPyo.

He is best known, among the contestants, for being the center of the season. His skills shone so brightly on "Produce X 101", that he earned himself the position of the center for the title track performance.

Additionally, fans were not the only ones who fell for his charm while he was on the show. The other contestants were also captivated by his persona. For example, even VICTON's Han SeungWoo made a comment about Son DongPyo's pretty smile and wanting to have a son like him someday. The duo showed fans their father-son-like chemistry.

The two are so compatible that even in their activities together as X1 members, later on, they had the best chemistry. Son DongPyo even jokingly complained about how Han SeungWoo was showing him less affection now that he was the leader of a group and had to take care of more members. He didn't like having to share his 'dad' with so many other 'siblings' since he had always been an only child in real life. The video is incredibly heartwarming and proves how much love he attracts as a person.

During "Produce X 101", Son DongPyo faced some obstacles in terms of proving himself as an artist. His talent was not in question, however, his ability to pull off certain concepts was a question mark to some viewers. As a result, he took on challenges to show various sides of himself and made sure to show more of his versatility.

In the end, he was able to show himself as the true all-rounder that he is, which was inspiring for viewers to see.

Thanks to his resilience, Son DongPyo was able to debut as a part of the final lineup, forming part of the group, X1.

In X1, Son DongPyo continued to shine and show his star power. Many carried the praises that he got from his "Produce X 101" period over into the group's activities.

Fans often spoke about his ability to be aware of his strengths and weakness and adapt a song to highlight him, as opposed to adapting himself to the song.

Others pointed out his confidence and how he utilizes it to be a well-balanced artist who can pull off intense and fierce but also brighter and light performances.

Unfortunately, X1's activities came to an unexpected end.

However, Son DongPyo was able to make a new start by debuting as a member of MIRAE in 2021.

He is the lead dancer and a vocal in the group. He is known for his pretty dance lines, captivating facial expressions, and being able to pull off any concept that the group does.

His plot-twist-like charm is his ability to do impactful strong choreography, too.

NOW (MIRAE's fandom) might be used to this familiar line. However, others may wonder where it came from.

When some people see something cute they might use the word 'adorable' to describe it. However, those people probably don't know about Son DongPyo. His name is synonymous with all of the possible words you could use for 'cute'.

He is famous for natural aegyo and how endearing he can be without even trying. When he actually makes an effort to show aegyo, you might faint from the cuteness overload. He is an aegyo vending machine!

Son DongPyo is the ultimate drama king. We mean that in the best way possible. He can be so dramatic that he will have you giggling at his antics before you even know it. He is sass personified.
