K-Pop songs are known to elicit a wide range of emotions from their listeners. Some would make you stomp your feet or bump your head vicariously to its rhythm, some would make you feel like a boss and boost your confidence, some create a sense of healing and restoration to the mind, and others would simply make you happy like you feel the warm ray of sunshine on a cold day or a refreshingly cool drink after a dreary day.

There are also some that can make you miss your lover (or wish you had one to miss) or reenact the various scenarios and messages that these songs present. Either through the lyrics or message, the beautiful and heart-tugging vocals of the artists, the genre itself, or just the concept and visuals of the songs, there are so many songs by K-Pop idols and artists that may have made fans feel this way. Songs that make you sit or lay in your comfort area, create or reminisce over scenarios with your lover and make you want to sing every lyric with the same power and emotion as the artist to them.

Here are 5 such songs we have been listening to on repeat lately and some of which will no doubt elicit this reaction from many listeners.

        1. Wonho - 'Losing You'

While we could all tag this as an anthem or message directed to WENEE, there is a way WonHo sings this song with so much emotion that vividly tugs at your heart strings and as you listen to the lyrics, you're engrossed in this story and scenario, where you see, feel, and vividly understand the value and weight of the love he professes. And as you further reflect on the message of the song, you can almost certainly imagine yourself singing with the same level of passion and emotion to the one you love.

        2. EXO's Chen - 'Hello'

We can't tell you how many times we have listened to or watched this song since it was released. The first note of "Hello" always gets us, like a welcome sign, as we entered into the world of Chen, who is embarking on this emotional journey. And somehow, we resonate with his sound, message, and conflicting thoughts as we find ourselves feeling every emotion he expresses in this song.

        3. IU - Love Poem

Chills! Right from the very first note, a rush of chills is felt all over your body as IU captivates your mind and transmits you into space where love abides. It is almost like watching a movie as with every note she sings, there is a scenario that plays in your mind, matching her intonation, lyric, and sound, you almost envision yourself singing this song to someone you care about or miss.

        4. GOT7's JinYoung - 'Letter'

When "Chapter 0: WITH" came out earlier this year, we listened with keen interest to every track on the album, and one of the songs that had our hearts and minds completely in awe and feeling a rush of love is 'Letter' after listening to it, we found ourselves hitting the repeat button and we must say, even without having to search for the lyrics, the message is clear as day as JinYoung sings this song with so much clarity in his emotions that makes you understand the conflict he faces with love and also find yourself feeling the same way.

        5. Girls' Generation's TaeYeon - 'Four Seasons'

When TaeYeon sings, it's like everything else comes to a still and you are so intoned with your emotions, as her beautiful voice encloses your mind and her message goes straight to the heart. While she has so many songs that would make you she'd soft tears while missing a lover (or a non-existent one) this song has to be one of our favorites as every time we listen to it, we find ourselves daydreaming about the kind of love story she projects with this song.

Which of these songs is your favorite? Are there others you'd like to add to this list? Let us know in the comment section.
